Chapter 3 - Birthday

I woke up to my little sister Jannel knocking on my door. I sat up a little and rubbed my eyes. Then the door clicked, Jan was coming in. I quickly fell back and pretended to still be asleep. What I was foing fir most was that I looked dead. I heard her foot steps go around my bed to the side. She was about to touch me when I did a loud snore that caused her to jump back. She sighed and left. I was waiting a few minutes knowing how she is the most sneakiest person I know. Then when I thought it was safe, I opened my eyes the second Jan jumped at me I screamed like a little girl in to of my lungs. THIS BITCH SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!!!!!!!

I quickly jumped out of my bed and fell on the floor on my ass.
I was so mad! My plan didn't work! Fuck! My thoughts were
intrupted by Jannel laughing like a fucking maniac. But I have to admit it was funny. So I laughed with her. "Why did you do that?!" I asked her after we were done laughing. "You think I'm stupid enough to believe you were still asleep. That snore gave it away by the way. I just pretended to be scared.".I ran my fingers through my hair.

Today was my 19 birthday. Its also the day I might have to get engaged with Megan. The sluttiest girl I know. I was supposed to find my mate last year on my 18 birthday. But that never
happened. Today I have to go to a new school called, Malton High.
I had to leave my old one because I got in a lot of fights. So now, I'm known as the new kid..Yay. Please note my sarcasam.
Well, at least my best friend, Carter was coming with me. A lot of people from the pack go there already. So, whatever.

I rinsed off and put some blue jeans and a black top. Then I slipped on me regular Vans. Jan left after she made fun of me. I smiled. We have a really close relationship. I'm really glad she's my sister. I hope guys at Malton know better to not touch her. Anyone who does, there body will be mailed to there house.

I jogged downstairs and saw Carter, Jan, my parents, and the pack eating. I smelt sausage, bacon, eggs, ham, and my favorite, orange juice. I slid in my seat between Carter and Jannel. Most of the
pack left to school already. Carter was found wandering in our territory when he was 5. He said that he was at the hospital with his mom, dad, and little sister. His mom had just given birth to his other little sister. He was in the room with her when she told him to hide in one of the cabinet doors. He knew that his
mother was very smart and that she can sense trouble. So he obeyed. The moment he crawled in there. A rouge barged in the room. He said that the rouge just went up to his mother and said that she will know pain. That this is what karma feels like. With that he clawed her chest. She was instantly killed. Then his little 3 year old little sister called for him and he started to panick. She walked in and screamed when she saw the scene. She called for their dad. The rouge was going towards her. So out if love for her, he ran out of the cabinet and bit the rouges leg. He then made rouges blood boil. That was one of his powers blood bending. The rouge was fighting it as he was about to slice his head off. But his sister came and saved him by kicking him in the back of the knees. He lost his balance and fell to the ground. He said that she took that time to snap his neck. Then their dad came in panting and ran to them both. He cried when his mate was dead. 3 more rouges appeared and tried to kill them. The dad was fighting them off. Carter said that he grabbed his sister and fled.
His sister said that they need to get their baby sister. But he said they didn't have enough time. She broke free of his hold and ran to the nursery. He didn't have time to go because rouges went after him. So he ran away and came here where our pack took care of him. He grieves when its any of their birthdays beacause he misses them so much and that he doesn't know if they made it out alive. Though he was more concerned about his sisters. He said that he didn't know the sisters powers but he can feel how strong they are. Well, they were anyway.

Anyway, we got up from the table and drove to school. Jan was really nervous about our first day here. She said that the ithers in the pack say that there are a lot of drama and strong people. The said that there are crazy fights and that they always end up rwally bad. That gave her nightmares. We pulled up in a huge, and I mean huge, parking lot in front of an even larger complex.
All three of us had our mouths agape. It was beautiful too. It was a white building that had many windows and had slight flower
vines growing along the sides. The surroundings was beautiful. It was so exotic. We finally parked and began walking to the main office when I stopped in my tracks. Jan left to go and 'make friends'. So it was just Carter and I. Carter was one of the strongest people in my pack. Besides my family.

"Do you smell that? It smells like...like.. like strawberry and coconut. Its relaxing." Carter shook his head. " Its probably the trees and flowers." I shook my head. " Come on. Let's go find it."
