Tate's P.O.V.

After hklding Tristan, Adam, and the other one named Louis, and erasing the humans minds, Carter, Jason, and I went to look for Skylar. She blocked our mind links and everyone elses. I was getting worried. Then a scent of coconut and vanilla hit my nose.
"Skylar."

We followed it back to the classroom but she wasn't there. 'What the hell! Where is she?!' Then the door swings open and my beautiful comes in dragging Austin by the leg behind her and Sophie elegantly walks in too. People get out of her way fast and Tristan, Adam, and Louis stopped squirming when the saw them. Their jaws dropped when Skylar slammed Austins body at their feet, not moving, not breathing. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" Louis yelled. I went to him and slapped him in the face for talking to her like that. "Shut the fuck up or you'll end up like your little friend over here."

Skylar mindlinked me saying, 'Take them to the pack house. I'll meet you there.' I was confused. Where was she going? 'Where are you going?' I didn't get a response so I looked back but she was gone. I dae sophie and she smiled at me. "You get used to it.".

Skylars P.O.V.

I left the room with anxiety. I ran to my house and swung the door open. My dad jumped and dropped his cereal on the floor making milk, frosted flakes, a spoon, and blass going everywhere.
"What the hell?!....What hell Skylar?! Why are you here?!"
I ran to the basement door and realized it was locked. I went back upstairs yo my dad wiping milk off his blue shirt. "I need the keys to the basement." I said sticking my hand out. My dad looked at my like I said I wanted to be human. "You're not getting anything but your ass back to school." I rolled my eyes, "fine." I went back to the basement and kicked the door open, making it fly acrooss the room shattering into pieces. I walk in as I hear my dad yell, "SHIT SKYLAR!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" I went straight to my moms boxes and got the very bottom one and opened it. I saw what I came for and smiled and under my breath I said,"yes." I jogged back upstairs but was stopped at the top by my dad twisting my arm behind my fast and hard making my scream in pain as I threw him off me. I was rushing to the front door when I realized I didn't have the objects. I felt a presense behind me so I tensed and stood up. I turned around to see my dad with tears in his eyes.

"What are you doing with this?" He said softly. A tear fell on the papers, just a single tear that carried so much meanig and pain. He looked up at me with a sudden change in mood, and it wasnt good. He looked pissed at me and snarled,"ANSWER ME!!!" I whimpered and dropped my head looking ashamed. I was to be honest a little terrified. My dad was the alpha of the strongest pack in the entire world. But I wasn't going to show him my fear. I looked up with a hint of threat in my eyes and responded, "Something that doesn't involve you." I jsed my moms relfexes and grabbed the papers and ran as fast as I could to the pack house. The devil inside me was out, and was ready to dance.
