Chapter 6- Finding our brother

"Um, are you sure?" I asked Tate? He looked at me intensily. He nodded." Um, I'm Skylar." I tell him. I skoot closer. "And I'm here Sophie." I see Carter tense. "Skylars little sister." I snap out of it and motion for Sophie to continue. She begins to hesitate but as always, she trustes me and obeys. She begins the chant and my arm and her hands begin to glow again. "What the hell?" I heard Carter say under his breath. I then once again do my research. But on Carter this time.

After 5 minutes I begin to tear up. Sophie finished a while ago and the room remained silent. Jannel, Tate, and.. Carter? Where mind linking. I didn't know what powers my... brother, beheld. He can be a werewolf. Sophie just stared at the ground lost in thought. Finally the tear fell down my face in silence." Are you okay?" Sophie asked me. I nodded. "Ya. Just.... tired." My voice croaked. That caught Tates attension. He looked over to me and looked worried. He was going to move closer to me but I got up and walked to the nurses front desk to get a lollipop.

"Carter?" He snapped his neck in my direction. "Ya?"
"Um. Can I ask you something?" "Um. Okay." He shifted in his seat to face me. "Do you have siblings?" He sat straight and looked at me then at Sophie. "I did." What does he mean, he did? "What happened to them? Were they brother or sisters?" I asked coming closer. Sophie stood up and remained behind me. "They were
sisters and they died along with my parents." He said looking down. He thought we were dead. He thought that I died trying to get Sophie. He thought Sophie died by the rouges. He thought dad died by the three other rouges. My voice became hoarse again and my throat began to burn the ball stuck in it. Tears began to fall down crazy like I can cry a sea so large and deep that the world can drown in it. I quickly broke our eye contact and looked at the ground, not wanting anyone to see me like this.

"At least, I thought they did." That cause me to immediatly puck up my head and look in his direction. He stood up and walked over to me. I heard Sophie step towards me for protection.
"Skylar. I never stopped grieving over that day. I missed you so much. There was a point when I was going to kill myself because of that day. But that little hope that mabye you guys were still out there kept me alive." Then he pulled me into a hug. I heard Tate growl. But a gave him a glare that made him stop.

"Umm, what's going on?" I heard sSophie ask behind me I smiked and I felt Carter smile ,too. We stopped hugging and looked at her. "Soph, this is Carter.... your older brother." Sophies eyes grew gigantic. Then pretty soon, she began to tear up. Carterwalked towards her and stood in front of her for a second
before pulling her to a big hug. "Why did you leave? We all thought you were dead." She asked him with her voice hoarse.
"Wait, all of us? You mean..." I rolled my eyes and said, " Yes, Dad is alive, too." Now it was his turn for his eyes to look like they're about to come out. "I missed you guys so much." He told us smiling. Then he turned to face Sophie. "And I'm just as happy to find and meet my youngest sister." She ran and wrapped her legs around his waist and began to sob while hugging him. He hugged back while holding her up. When she finally got down, he looked at Tate. Tate nodded and walked beside Carter. Jannel did the same while Sophie stepped towards me. We were still smiling but knew something was up.

"Now, tell me sisters. What exactly are you?" Our smiles faded and I can literritly sense Sophie frightened. I looked at Tate and he nodded for me to go. Gawwwd. I nodded in return. "Umm. This might be confusing to you guys. Soooo..." I began. "You might want to sit down." Sophie finished for me. Well, here goes nothing.
