My Alpha mate and Hybrid self

Chapter 9- Step two. Invite your mate to dinner.

During dinner, dad was still going crazy but didn't say anything out loud since the human side of the, 'family', was eating dinner with us. I rolled my eyes and looked down at my food. Veggies everywhere. Not one piece of meat on the fudging plate. You know why? Because Charolette and Gracie are vegetarians!! How on fucking earth can't you eat meat?! Its like heaven to yuour mouth and stomach! What ever, dad, Soph and I always go get take out from wood ranch or some restaurant that provides meat.

During dinner, I catch Sophie glancing at Gracie and trying so hard not to burst out laughing. She looked that bad. Yupu saw some of her scalp and ugh, too ugly to explain. And at times I saw dad smile when he saw Gracie with a busted lip and everything. Which made me smirk. Gracie looked at me and glared at me like her nails depend on it. I smiled and played with my food. "Uhhh! Stop playing with your food and eat like the lady you aren't. Learn some manners poodle dog." I smiled and replied. "I will do whatever I want with my food you fucking shaved cat." That had Sophie and dad cracking up laughing like hyenas. Charolette glared at dad making him stop but he continued to grin. Sophie on the other hand was laughing like her lemonade was about to come out of her nose. Gracie rolled her eyes and continued to eat.

"He kisses like an angel." I instantly stopped what I was doing and so did everyone else but Gracie. All eyes were on us. I looked over to her and grabbed my fork, since we didn't have knives because we didn't eat meat a lot, and was trying to get across the table by jumping on it. Charolette and Gracie screamed while dad and Sophie were trying to pull me back. Which got very out of hand that they had to pick me up and take me outside. Sophie stayed
outside with me while dad was inside lecturing Gracie with Charolette.

"Sky, what the hell were you doing?! You could've killed her!" Sophie said as we stood on the porch. "That's what I was planning on doing. I swear, if she says anythicg about her kissing Tate again, I'm going to literally rip her head off her body in her sleep. Then I will hang it so her whole crew can see it." We walked across the street into the woods. "Sky, you were almost letting your hybrid side out. I felt it." She said sounding worried. "Actually, I was nowhere near it. If I was, Graxie would be dead by now and you guys wouldn't have held me back." She began to argue back and tried lecturing me. But I honestly wasn't listening. I heard something hairy and thick barely brush a tree almost about a mile away. We were being followed. Someone is watching us. I listened more carefully and felt two more presneses. We were going to get attacked, ambushed. Soph. Sophie did a spell on herself so we can mindlink like wolves a while back. It was times like these where we needed it the most. Sophie stopped talking.
What? She asked knowimg something was wrong. Were beinhg followed. I felt three things. Sophie was shaking. She may be very powerful, but she gets terrified if any one of us is in danger. Get ready to turn invisible. I'm going to suprise them. If I need help, you better help me understand? She slightly nodded. The plan was in go.

One....two....THREE! Sophie immediatly went invisable and I ran to the attackers with Sophie following. But obviously she was way behind. Within less than a second, I was in front of the three attackers who turned out to be wolves. Rouges. I let my hybrid side come out. My eyes shone golden and I bared my fangs. The wolves looked shaken up and shocked. One wolf was black that I was weirdly attracted by. Another one was light brown and the last one was gray and white. I smiled that showed my white fangs and teeth. They took a step back exept for the black one. Instead he drew closer and closer. He made a daring mistake to try and take me on. "Bad mistake." The wolf looked confused. I then growled and tackled him to the ground. I felt tingly but brushed it off. The wolf tried to get me off but I was very strong, and my hate for rouges gave me a 10× extra strength. I then bit the wolf in the neck and sunk my fangs deeper and tried to reach the bone. The wolf whined and screamed in inscruchiating pain. They I heard a wolf growl and race towards me I instanty realesed the black wolf and speedidly turned around and grabbed the light brown wolf by the throat in midair. I began to squeeze it as it howled in pain. Then I heard at least teb more wolves coming our way, fast. Soph, its a pack. I will tell you when I need you, stay in the trees. I said after I saw a few branches move in the tree behind the wolf I was about to kill. Okay. Be careful Sky. I visably nodded and was about to snap the wolves neck when I was roughly tackled from the side. And let me tell you, it hurt like a bitch! This wolf was all white and had me pinned down while growling at me, warning me not to try anything stupid. But, as we all know.. I do nothing but stupid things and I don't enjoy being threatened. So I grabbed the paw on my right and twisted it. The wolf howled in pain as it fell to the left and I snapped its neck. Two wolves came after me as soon as I got up but I easily ducked there attack and kicked them, knocking them out immediatly. I smiled and turned around and was instantly biten by a wolf. I screamed in pain as another one came from behind me and broke my leg. I fell to the floor screaming my badass head off. NOW SOPHIE, NOWWW!!! Immediatly the two wolves were blown off me. All the wolves stopped barking ang growling and began to look terrified and was about to jump out of their skins. Sophie appeared out of no where that had the wolves stepping back in fear. One though, looked at her amazed and was day dreaming. Sophie smiled and lifted her hands to her waist level and all the trees bent and twisted and all the grass turned to flames. I took this time and twisted my leg back to place and stood up like nothing. I knew the bite I had gotten dissapeared a few seconds after I got it. I then walked to Sophie's side and smirked at all the wolves looking at us with fear amd astonishment. I bared my fangs once again and made my eyes glow the beautiful golden color. That made then step back even more. Then six brave wolves stepped forward and growled at us. Sophie and I looked at each other and laughed. Sophie may be scared at times and sweet. But inside, she can be cruel and merciless. I liked that about her.
