Chapter 4 -Mate

After four minutes I, gave up. I probably was imagining it.
We walked back out to the parking lot and saw Jan coming towards us with a girl." Hey guys I want to introduce you to my friend." Jan said motioning the girl to introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Sophie. Its nice to meet you." I felt Carter tense and I know why. He said that his mother named her daughter Sophie before she died. Everytime a Sophie said hi or something, Carter tensed.

Then we saw a group gathering around. So we went. Sophie and Jan made it to the front. So did we. I heard a sexy voice and suddenly the smell came like a hurricane. My wolf howled. Could she be my mate?

"Who do who think you are?!" The girl that said that was probably an even bigger slut than Bella. The black hair beauty, wait...what, walked up to the slut and said, " Skylar Canhalen, bitch." I froze and so did Carter. Canhalen. Carters last name.

Skylars face. Everyine was oooing. But I growled and so did Carter. This has to be his sister. But where's the youngest one? Skylar smirks and looked to the side and slowly faced the slut. Then she did the most unexpected thing. She punched her, knocking the slut to the floor. That was hot! Then everyone, even Carter and I were cheering for Skylar. A portion was going for the slut whose name was Gracie. Then a girl was going for Skylar when Dylan, my beta, stepped in frint of her. "You dont want to do that." The girl laughed and said," What? Are you going to hit me?" I already hated her. Then Danielle, our pack trainor, went between them and said to the girl, "He won't. But I sure will." The girl was stupid enough to try her and ended uo with a broken wrist and was gasping for air. I smiled and Carter was laughing. Then I glanced to see a guy, a fucking guy, running to my mate behind her. I was going to go and stop it when Carter stopped me.

"She's got this." I dont know how he even knows that and I stared at him confused. Then he pointed to Skylar and I immediatly knew what he meant. Skylar quickly spun around and round house kicked him, knocking him out immediatly. That was by far themost hottest thing I've seen. I think I'm going to die. Then she was slammed to the ground by Gracie. But Skylar hit her. But I was getting annoyed that I haven't been her face through all of this. Dylan warned skylar that some guys were going to her. It looked like she zoned out and she looked at the last minute. She was in pain. Her facial expression said everything. I had enough. I walked over there and threw him off her. I punched him and he was out. But I didn't care. Each punch was for her. My Mate. Carter got the memo and fought other guys. Dylan and Danielle were fighting the guys, too. Everyine was shicked to see Danielle fighting all of them like that. Danielle and I were close and so was Dylan.

I ran to Skylar and asked her if anything hurt. "I-I think my arms broken." Next time I see the guy who did this, he will pay. My first day if school and I already got in a fight. My parents will be so proud. I asked if it was ok to pick her up and she said yes. Then I felt the sparks. The ones that every mate couple talks about. I tild Carter to get Danielle and Dylan out of there. There were guys checking her out and glared at me. I gave them a glare that would kill. There are a lot of guys who really like her. And that can get them in a lot of trouble.
