CHAPTER THREE: UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
With all the paperwork done, Isobel opted for introducing the two to her work and what she had planned for the project.
The two males felt as if they were in some sort of tour through a museum with the blonde being their guide and for once, the two weren't bored to death. They enjoyed hearing about the different processes that are behind the creation of clothing, seeing as fashion was a big part of who they were and a way for them to express themselves.
At first she explained her idea behind the project, why it differed so much from the stuff she usually did and what the two guys could see throughout the studio. To Jake and Johnnie it explained why a girl like her would want them to work with her and it almost filled them with some kind of pride hearing about how hard the process of finding the right people was.
At the sight of a happy Johnnie grinning from ear to ear with a slight tint to his pale cheeks, Jake was ready to make fun of him for it, knowing that the boy barely had any contact to girls that weren't close friends. The way Isobel talked about them like they were her serendipity didn't help the guys' egos either.
The male had no time to voice his thoughts as Isobel had led him and Johnnie to the back of the studio, after showing them some of her sketches and pieces that were created as a result of them. Jake had to admit that they were incredibly well thought out and while most of them weren't things he'd wear personally he had friends that would absolutely rock them.
"So, after seeing some pieces and finished projects are you guys ready to see what I've been working on currently?", the girl asked with a shy grin, suddenly unsure if the boy's would like them.
"Totally, everything I've seen so far is sick! Would probably never wear it, but it's cool dude", Johnnie replied in an instant as Isobel's smile widened.
"Never say never", she exclaimed as she dissapeared behind a curtain that was put up by Han and Isobel to hide their unfinished projects from each other for safety reasons and fairness. While they trusted each other with their lives, their university had strict rules when it came to the prevention of stealing ideas and they were both glad about it, having heard horror stories from fellow students.
With one swift pull the curtain dropped and Jake and Johnnie were met with three mannequins, all of them wearing unfinished pieces and draped fabrics all attached with pins and needles. The two guys let out a few cheers when they saw all the different materials, the leather, the studs and most of all things they would most definitely buy if they were sold at a store.
"My heart literally dropped, this looks fucking insane", Jake admitted and somehow it made Isobel feel incredibly happy getting such approval from the guy. She was really worried he'd be the one to dislike them, so this was a huge relief.
"You're really good", Johnnie added and in an instant, both Jake and Isobel mocked him by quoting this one line from Camp Rock. Johnnie burst out laughing as Jake and Isobel glanced at each other in disbelief. The girl squinted her eyes at him before a smile took over her features, walking back over to the two.
"Love me some good fucking Camp Rock memes", Jake reacted and joked around with Johnnie as Isobel prepared a few things for them. It seemed as if the guys were clueless when it came to modeling, but atleast they were funny, so it wouldn't be too nerve-wrecking.
"So who wants to start?", she asked as Jake pushed Johnnie towards her, the latter letting out a groan as he stood in front of Isobel awkwardly, unsure of what the next step was.
"Do I have to get naked?", he asked the girl in front of him whose eyes widened at the question. With him, she couldn't tell if it was sarcastic or a genuine question, so she just took a step aside and pointed him to where he was supposed to stand on the little plattform.
