"Please can you tell me where we're going?" I ask as I walk down the stairs, pushing my hair over one shoulder.
Lizzie and Scarlett have given me absolutely no context as to what's happening tonight; the only thing they told me to do was to put on this dress that I'm wearing, one that they specifically picked out themselves. I have no idea what's happening, but I'm definitely excited to see what'll happen.
"If we tell you, it won't be a surprise, darling." Scarlett smiles, putting on her heels before grabbing her handbag.
"Oh my goodness." Lizzie breathes out as she walks into the living room, her eyes fixed on my body.
"Stop drooling, love, we're going in a minute." Scarlett tells her, grabbing her car keys before walking over to the front door, "You two ready?"
I nod slowly, clutching onto my handbag as I walk out of the front door. Scarlett opens the car door for me with a smile before getting into the driver's seat. Lizzie decides to sit in the back with me, our fingers interlocked as Scarlett starts driving.
"So, sweetheart." Scarlett begins, keeping her eyes on the road, "We figured that it might be a good idea to do something nice together tonight, just to take your mind off things."
I nod slowly, "Where are we going?"
"That is a surprise, my darling." Lizzie smiles, "But we did choose somewhere about an hour away just because we know nobody from the university would be there."
"You guys are so kind and caring." I smile, resting my head on Lizzie's shoulder.
"You deserve only the best, my love." Scar says softly.
"I mean it." I whisper, "You're both incredible."
Lizzie places a soft kiss on my forehead, wrapping her arms around me gently. There are three simple words that I want to say to them, I want to show them how much they both mean to me and how much I've fallen for them. But I'm scared to.
What if they don't feel the same? What if it's too early in our relationship to tell them that? I don't know how long they've been together, but they've probably said it to each other already. Am I overthinking? Or have I just fallen for them way too quickly?
-----
About an hour later, we arrive at a huge shopping centre in a city that I've never been to before. In the car park, I notice that there's not too many people so it's probably not too busy. After Scarlett parks the car, all three of us get out and walk towards the entrance together.
"Alright, my love. We've booked two things for us all to do together tonight." Scarlett tells me.
"The first thing may be a little out of your comfort zone but we weren't too sure. You can always back out if you don't want to do it, but it's something we thought would be quite nice." Lizzie tells me.
Both of them hold my hands as we walk into the shopping centre, heading towards the part outside. We walk right to the end of the street, where I notice there's a huge building with a picture of a hot air balloon on it.
"No way." I smile as we walk over to it.
"Is it okay?" Scarlett asks, squeezing my hand softly.
"Okay? It's perfect, I've always wanted to do this!"
Both of them let out soft giggles as we walk into the building, and me and Scar sit down on a bench inside whilst Lizzie talks to the woman about our booking.
"Are you excited, sweetheart?" Scarlett asks me with a smile.
I nod my head, "I've always wanted to do this! Although if I'm being completely honest, I am a little nervous."
"Don't worry, love. We'll both be here to keep you safe the whole time." She smiles.

I don't see how this night could possibly get any better. We've just finished our hot air balloon ride, and it was absolutely incredible. Truthfully, I was quite anxious because I am a little afraid of heights, but having both of my girls beside me really helped.
It's quite dark now since it's getting quite late, but they both told me that there was one other thing that they had planned and I have a think I have a rough idea of what it might be.
The three of us walk over to a fancy Italian restaurant in the shopping centre, and my heart skips a beat. I had a suspicion that one of these surprises would be to have dinner somewhere, but I never imagined a fancy restaurant like this.
"After you, my loves." Lizzie says, holding the door open for me and Scarlett to walk inside.
Lizzie talks to the waiter before he shows us to our table and we all sit down. I take a look at the menu and notice that it's all quite fancy and posh. It's not anything I'm really used to.
I also haven't really had time to talk to Lizzie and Scarlett about my eating, I just didn't really want to worry them or anything. But I'm nervous that they'll notice that something's wrong if I don't eat much whilst I'm here.
"What would you like to drink, darling?" Scarlett asks me, placing her hand on my thigh underneath the table.
"Just a glass of wine, please." I smile.
She orders three glasses of wine for us all before starting to look over the menu to decide what to order. Everything all looks like they have really large portions or too many calories, so it's difficult for me to choose something.
"Here are your drinks." The waiter smiles, handing us all our glasses, "And are you all ready to order?"
Scar looks at me before she speaks and I nod at her, "I think we're all ready."
The both of them order their meals before the waiter turns to me. I fidget with my fingers a little underneath the table, a little anxious as I speak to him.
"Can I just have a salad, please?"
"Alright, your food will be ready shortly." He says with a smile before walking off.
"You alright, sweetheart?" Lizzie says, clearly noticing my anxiety.
"Yeah, I'm just not really hungry." I smile.
Lizzie and Scarlett exchange a worried look before we all fall into a conversation about something. As much as I would like to be open to them, I'm still really nervous to talk about things. I know that I could trust them, they make me feel so safe and happy. But I still find it really difficult to talk about.
-----
The three of us get back into the car, Lizzie in the driver's seat this time as Scarlett sits in the back with me. I rest my head on her shoulder as we start to drive off, closing my eyes for a few seconds and trying to relax.
"Did you like your little surprises tonight, baby?" Scarlett asks, putting her arm around me.
"I did. It was really nice, thank you."
"There's no need to thank us, pretty girl." Lizzie smiles, looking at me through the mirror, "You deserve all of it."
My heart thumps in my chest. I want to say it so bad, I want to tell them how much I've fallen for them both, how safe they make me feel. But I keep overthinking it, something that I can't stop myself doing for some reason.
"Is something on your mind, gorgeous?" Scarlett asks, pressing a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Nothing, I just..I really love you both." I whisper.
I notice Lizzie and Scar both smiling, hinting that how they feel about what I said can only be a good thing. It feels amazing to finally have that weight lifted off my chest, saying those simple three words out loud has made me feel so much better.
"I love you too, beautiful." Scarlett says with a smile as I look at her, "I love you both so much."
"Me too. I love you both, my gorgeous girls." Lizzie smiles.
