The Burning Of Pages (Now Complete! Yay🗣️)

I wake up with a throbbing in my head and I shoot up and look around. I am surrounded with the group Kim, Harry, Riley, Kara, Mark, Sarah, and Marlen. I stand and I whirl around "where is he!?!?" Tears rolled down my face "he took akomori! We have to find her!" Harry looks grave and he speaks up "kate uh Marlen said he has something for you" Marlen walks forward and squirms sheepishly I kneel down and get on his level "Marlen what do you have for me?" He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper and he hands it to me. I take it and open it. It's a map of the block and there is a building circled. I would know it better than anyone. It's the school where there is a note on the map

     "be here tonight." I read it out loud and I cried a bit more "hey kate it's okay really we will get her back " Kara tries to comfort me and I shake my head "that man is a bad man he's been hunting me and now now he's taken akomori!" Harry shakes his head and Sarah stands up finding her voice "we can't just let them do this'' she speaks in a soft and fragile voice "we have to get our friend back" her voice cracks just a bit "and take revenge for what they did to Ethan'' I grip my hair and Marlen tugs at my shirt "where's akomori?" My heart feels like it gets squeezed and I kneel and put a hand on his shoulder "she is uh taken by bad people and we are gonna get her back"

     “Because” I go on, my voice cracking with emotion “if someone takes your friend, now you have to get them back.” Marlen looks down then he gets a determined expression “we will get them! And kill e’m” I stand up and mark is clenching is fists and burning with anger "I say we blow those fuckers sky high get some oil or gasoline and light the whole thing on fire!" Harry turns and looks at me "look! I don't know what she meant to you, you guys we're complicated, but I care about her, you have to be on my side for this!" Mark glares at me but Riley comes forward "look that isn't a great plan! We should just use some fire power. We get guns and ammo then we light them up!" Kara meekly speaks up

     "o-or we could settle it peacefully" Marlen looks at me with wide and attentive eyes I look at him then back at the group "we are blowing those fuckers to the sky" Mark nods a smiles Kara takes a step back and looks at the ground "those poor people" Riley turns and trys to comfort Kara "look uh we have to do this to get akomori back" we spend the day gathering lighters and igniters Then once the sun starts to fall I lead the group through the street sticking behind cars and taking down crazies we find our way to the old school and its dark but there is lights in the school I enter and I see the blood soaked floor and torn pieces of the uniform on the ground we make our way to the right and down a corridor into the emergency stairs stealth type shit and we rise to the top we then spit up as we pass floors. mark and Sarah take the first, Kara and Riley take the second. they spread gas and flammable substances then we meet up and Harry and Kim stay back to light it once we give him the signal, a gunshot.

     then we ascend to the roof the open the door on the roof there is akomori she is tied to a pole and gagged the man and four other adults are there my blood boils and I take a step closer to them and then the man points a gun at akomori and she flinches away "don't take a step closer" he warns his voice low almost a growl I pull my own gun and I aim it at him, and the adults raise there guns "put that up kate" he smiles from under his hood "we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt" I do as he says and I holster my gun "what do you want?" I glare at him and then I look at akomori she looks fine just some scratches and bruising but then I look up to her face and she has a giant cut on her forehead it stretches from her eye brow to the top of her mouth and it leaks blood, and I ball my hands into fists and shake, "you said you wouldn't hurt her!" He looks at  scar and he runs his finger along it making her shiver

     "it was a sad thing to hurt such a pretty little thing like her but it was necessary" a clamor arose from the adults giggles and words like "yeah" and "boss had to" etc but I cross my arms “just give us akomori back" the man shakes his head "there is something you don't know about me, Ralph Finch doesn't give, he trades.'' Ralph also known as the man smiles at me and I want to jump at him Kara stands back and looks around uneasy with the tension and Riley moves in front of her mark stands ready to fight and Marlen cowers behind me and a scream of a crazie is heard in the background, I take out my gun and shoot it into the air and hope it's loud enough for Harry to hear and spring the trap Ralph looks at me confused and Then smoke starts to rise. "they are burning the school!" He shouts and the adults raise their guns and I panic. "don't get hit!"

     I dart and the rest scatter I raise my gun and I shoot a woman I shoot to kill, it hits her in the chest and she flies backward dropping her gun and she is sent off the roof and the cries and screams of the crazies move in on her Sarah runs and mark darts right at a man, he squeezes the trigger and mark ducks just barely dodging the bullet he grabs the discarded gun that the woman dropped and he swings the butt of it and strikes the man across the face I don't know where Riley and Kara has gone all I know is Marlen is with me I run straight at the man and tackle him to the ground my fist becomes a piston and it comes back then shoots forward and connects with his face.  he grab my shoulders and flips on top of me and I struggle with him. My head comes up in a head butt and I connect with his nose causing blood to spurt out. And I never knew it would feel so good to hit him, He looks down at me with a craziest expression

    "finally! finally! I have you. All to myself after all of this wanting and longing I get to taste you again" he smiles down at me and I glare at him and fight against him but he keeps me pinned he slaps me and my head jerks to the side and I see Marlen and I fight harder he stands there scared and wide eyed Ralph grabs my face and forces me to look into his eyes They are dark and filled with a longing that scares me "your mine now Kate,  your going to be my bride. " He smile and it makes my stomach knot. I try to head butt him again "shut up! No I won't! I hate you!" He leans down and captures my lips in a bruising kiss akomori cries out and struggles against her restraints and I keep my lips clamped as his tongue slides across my lips and I grimace then i feel a impact but not to me but on Ralph And Sarah is throwing him off me by tackling him I shoot up and she jump back from him "get akomori!" She shouts so I oblige and I run over to her and I cup her face gently she looks at me happily and I un tie her and remove her gag

     "Kate! You came back, I knew you would!" I smiled at her "of course I would!" She Smiles warmly at me and there is a moment of tenderness amidst the chaos of the fight "he kissed you'' akomori said darkly "it's not my first'' I smile at her and she giggles "it would be my first'' she blushes and stares into my eyes and I stare at hers her hand finds mine and she holds it my fingers intertwine with hers and my heart races she stares at me affection and love swirls in her eyes and I can't help but lean in she does the same and we approach each other slowly until our lips are but inches apart and she closes her eyes then we are thrown off our feet with a deafening Boom as the building whines and creaks
