A change in both worlds || Dogday x Catnap ||

Please just talk to me!!!

(I will always add music on the top so you can listen to it while reading! The music I choose will fit with the whole chapter <3)

-No ones POV-

"When are you going to let me be Catnap..?" The orange dog says with a drain voice. "I don't want to be near you, yet you keep following me..."

Catnap groans out of annoyance. "Maybe because I just want to talk to you Dogday- I can't even have one simple conversation with you!" The dog turns his head towards the purple cat and stares at him. "I wonder why..." He says before looking down at his stitches. "I really wonder! I can't even run anymore because of you." He says as he stands up walking away.

Catnap goes after him, and his ears goes back a little. "I don't know what you want me to do about it. What's done is done and I can't change what I did-" Catnaps says as he tries to get his point across with Dogday.

The dog with the sun collar takes a deep breath before stopping and turning around to smile at Catnap.

"You wanna know what I can't change Catnap..?"

"What..?"

Dogday looks at him for a moment then starts laughing and puts his hand on his forehead. "I can't change the fact that the rest of them aren't here! I can't change the fact that I can't make everyone happy anymore!!" The orange dog smiling starts fading away as he began to get closer and closer to Catnap. "Haha... THEY ARE ALL GONE! I COULDN'T SAVE THEM FROM THE PROTOTYPE, FROM YOU!!!" Dogday falls on the floor and starts whining as his ears go back. "I'm not even happy with anything or anyone, I'm not that same person who used to be happy, forgiving, helpful, joyful, and I'm not that person who could cheer up someone's day anymore."

Catnap stands there in silence as he looks at his ex-best friend crying right in front of him. Dogday wasn't known for crying. He was known for being a brave leader, and person who everyone wants to be. Everyone knew he wouldn't cry during hard times. Even if he was in a bunch of pain, if someone was crying in the same moment, he wanted too... he would push those feelings away and help out immediately.

The dog with the sun collar didn't even cry when his legs were in the process of getting taken away...

-FLASHBACK-

Crys of terror flooded the room with the cells. Bobby, Bubba, Crafty, and picky was behind Dogday. While Hoppy and Kicken started make escapes exits in a cell to go too.

"Catnap you can't do this. I won't let you-" Dogday says as he stood Infront of catnap not letting him pass.

Kicken and Hoppy were making holes in both of the walls so everyone could crawl out of. Dogday told them too because Catnap wouldn't be able to fit there, and they both had the 3rd and 4th strongest body's out of the smiling critters because Dogday was first, and Catnap was second.

"P-please Catnap..- don't hurt us! -" The red bear said while everyone else hugged her for comfort.

Catnap said nothing as he stared at Dogday trying to protect the rest of them from getting hurt. Catnap saw that he wasn't as brave as he acted like he was. His fear could be seen easily to him but not to the others.

"It's Ready!" Hoppy announced to everyone. "Everyone go to the exit now!-" Dogday says as Catnap starts moving closer towards him.

Picky, Crafty, Bobby, and Bubba all went towards the escape path. "Dogday come on!!! We need to leave now!!!!" Kicken yells as Hoppy goes in the escape route. Leaving Kicken, Dogday and Catnap alone.

"Go before me!-" Dogday says before he gets picked up by Catnap. "AGH!- PUT ME DOWN!!!" He tries to move out of Catnaps grasp but can't move at all no matter how hard he tried.

Catnap starts to take Dogday and pull his upper body and lower half apart. "DOGDAY-" Kicken yells in horror. Kicken starts crying and puts his hands over his mouth as he sees Dogday screaming in pain but no tears to be shown.

"AGH!- C-CATNAP..- S-STOP-..." Dogday screams in pain as he gets torn apart from the other half of his body.

His blood spills everywhere with his guts. Dogday weakly looks at Kicken mouthing him to go before passing out.

Kicken staring at the scene of his leader getting killed. Tears starts forming in his eyes when he sees catnap dropping Dogdays unconscious body on the floor.

"w-why am I even crying- Dogday didn't even cry when his body got torn apart..." Kicken says while staring at his body on the floor. "I-I'm sorry..." Kicken says with a shaky voice before escaping.

Kicken goes and finds all of the rest of the other critters. While he doesn't say a word to them. The chikens eyes looks lifeless as if he was dead. Hoppy asked him what took him so long and where Dogday was...

Everyone waited for an answer while Kicken walked past them slowly. Dogdays death kept repeating and repeating over and over in his mind. He felt sick. He wanted to pass out. But then again he hears the same question again.

"Where is Dogday, Kicken..?" Bobby askes curious.

He continues to walk away before mumbling the word

"Gone"

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"Catnap... I can't do this anymore... I want to disappear. I'm in so much pain I can't do any of this. I can't even try to get myself to fake being happy anymore..." he says while crying. "Please... just leave me alone..." Dogday says silently as he gets up and walks away from catnap.

The dog leans against the walls and slowly walks away.

His eyes grew tired from crying. He couldn't walk anymore yet he was pushing himself too.

Catnap sat there and felt so much guilt for him.

"I ruined our relationship, and I made him feel like this..." Catnap thought to himself "I want to try to make him forgive me, but I won't force it... I really could see now why he didn't want to talk to me-"

His thoughts get cut off by seeing Dogday standing still and losing his balance as if he is about to pass out.

Before he does catnap uses his tail to catch Dogday before he hit the ground.

"I should let him rest and give him his space" The purple cat mumbles
