A change in both worlds || Dogday x Catnap ||

-No one's POV-

The cat started to feel flustered as he began to stare at everyone. "I uhm..." His face began to turn to a hint of pink on his cheeks.

"You were really good out there Catnap!" Dogday says cheerfully with his tail swaying. "Who knew your voice could be so calming?" The white unicorn said while why was smiling.

Catnap began to get overwhelmed with all the complements. He wasn't used to this. He always thought that he would never get any complements before, but he was now. He didn't know how to react but to not say anything at all.

-Catnap's POV-

I stared at everything in lost for words. My heart was pounding all of a sudden. I didn't know what to do.

I stared at Dogday and no one else for some reason. I don't know what was up with me in that moment.

I look down at his waist and see a tail wagging while seeing him smile brightly.

Who knows what had him to be back to his old self but I'm glad he is happy. I'm sure the others helped him recover. Especially Bobby and Bubba. They always gave out great advice from what I remember.

Suddenly I caught myself smiling at Dogday and saw him blush.

"What am I doing...?" I think to myself as my tail was wagging a little. Not like a Dog's tail but it was more elegantly than other animals because of how I am.

Everyone continued to comment on my singing and dancing, but Dogday and I stayed quiet. I don't know what was happening in this moment. But then I remember the song lyrics...

It was rather Loving and Romantic...- and I was...

I was thinking about Dogday in that moment...

My heart started pounding like crazy until I realized what I just thought. I stared at Dogday again before running to my house.

-Dogday's POV-

Everyone helped me get back to my happy old self again. I was glad they all didn't hate me, and I was able to not have a weight on my chest anymore. We had some chats and I told them all what happened after all the events that happened and how I was. They comforted me and gave me advice which was so kind of them if I do say so myself.

but that's beside the point!

I never knew Catnap could sing and dance like that... It was so beautiful! His movement, Voice, Vocals... Everything was amazing.

I caught him staring at me and saw his tail movement. It was so slow just like how a tiger's tail is when they are about to catch its prey. But, at the same time it made me have a fuzzy feeling of cuteness inside my heart.

He continued to stare at me with cute eyes which made me blush. I didn't know what to do...

I didn't want to break eye contact but at the same time I wanted too, because I was getting flustered and kind of hot at the same time.

N-not that type of hot! But like... It was something else.

I don't know what it was, but it was a certain feeling that I felt when we both stared at each other.

Then to my surprise Catnap ran away out of nowhere.

"Catnap!-" Bobby says.

"Did we accidently make him uncomfortable...?" Crafty askes while feeling bad and looked down.

"I'm sure we didn't don't worry!" Kicken adds while putting his arm around her.

I wanted to go to Catnap and tell him something but then him and the girl who was singing kept repeating in my mind.

I blushed at the thought of when Catnap sang.

I found my tail wagging very fast at the thought of when catnap sang that.

That part made me blush and I hid my face. Especially when it was in his voice. The way he moved himself to the beat. His swaying drove me crazy.

W-what's wrong with me...

I want to go visit him, but I need an excuse to leave... I got it!

"Hey guys, why don't we have a sleep over at my house tonight? You know, to catch up and spend time together like we used to..?" I say hoping they say yes. Which they obviously did.

Bubba askes "What time and what about Catnap?"

"Glad you asked I'll go tell him myself! I'll be back, I'm going to head over to catnaps right now and be there for 7!!!" I say with my tail wagging.

"Got it! I'm never late!!!" Said hoppy.

"Wanna see about that!?" Said the yellow chicken with a smug look. "How about we race to see who gets there earlier?"

"I'll beat you in no time!" She was with a competitive tone.

I chuckle at their little gamble and wave the rest of the critters off while I start making my way to Catnap's house.
