A change in both worlds || Dogday x Catnap ||

Truth and Past...

-Catnap's POV-

"Patching him up feels weird... it's always him that's doing the healing not him getting the healing you know?" I say to dogday while I focus on disinfecting the wounds.

"I know... I feel bad for him- The wounds are deep too- even if it's less than Hoppy's it still takes the same amount of time to care for it..." He mumbles back.

After a few minutes of silence and focusing on Bubba's wounds we got him all fixed up.

It was 12:50am when we first started and now it's going on 2:38.

Both me and Dogday sat on a chair next to each other. "I'm honestly interested on what happened when he was alive... like, Human-" I say queitly.

Dogday turns to me. "Same- He is the only one that can remember for some reason and only told Hoppy-" He stares at Bubba with a worried face. "His parents died for him..."

I stood quiet not knowing how to respond. I can't imagine remembering that and getting reminded of it again just for it to be used against you...

Honestly... I never knew he could fight like that either- It's like he had experience fighting before...

I have so many questions for when he wakes up.

-No one's POV-

Both the Canine and Feline play games and watch movies to pass the time. Even though they were tired, they had a bunch of questions on their mind which left them to be awake.

4 hours passed by, and the blue elephant starts to wake up from his sleep.

-Bubba's POV-

I wake up slowly to see dim lights on as if I was in a bedroom. I groan and get up to see my arms, legs, and head to be fully patched up and disinfected.

"Finally, you're up Bubba-" The feline groaned while stretching.

"Don't be like that Catnap, He was sleeping-" The Caine implied.

I remember passing out, but I didn't expect Dogday and Catnap to patch me up. And when did Catnap even get here?

I got up from the bed. "Thanks for patching me up" I said softly while smiling at them.

"No problem!" Dogday said while smiling slightly at me. "We actually wanted to ask you something... well- It's a lot of questions..."

I know they were going to ask me questions, but I didn't know it would be just after I woke up. I mean I could just get it out of the way..-

"How about we talk about it in the living room???" Catnap suggested.

Me and Dogday agreed to the suggestion and made our way downstairs.

-No one's POV-

After the three of them sat down on the couch, Bubba prepared himself to answer questions.

"Look Bubba- you don't have to answer any of the questions if you don't want too..-" Dogday said.

"Don't worry I will... It's not a problem at all don't worry-" He reassured

Catnap looked happy that he was going to get all of his questions answered and his tail started to sway back and forth. "I'll ask first! Can you tell us what happened with you and your parents..?" He asked "Like when you were... Human.."

Bubba hesitated and sighed knowing that they were going to ask that main question. "It's going to be a long story but sure..."
