A change in both worlds || Dogday x Catnap ||

Leader and Killer

-No one's POV-

All of the smiling critters were at Bubba Bubbaphants house. There they all were... Standing and waiting for Dogday and Catnap to wake up.

After Catnap Passed out Bumble Buzz took him to the smartest critter around. And so did Kicken and Bobby did as well. 

They all stared at the both of them in shock to see their Leader and Killer in front of them again. Everyone was silent and didn't know what to say about their situation.

"Did Catnap kill Dogday...?" Crafty askes in a low voice hoping the attention of everyone won't go all to her. "I still remember that day I saw Catnap rip Dogday in half... it feels like it was yesterday" Kicken mumbles while crossing his arms. "I thought he died when he went passed out... You know he didn't even cry when his body got ripped apart... yet I was the one crying just because I witnessed it..." he mumbles.

"That sounds horrifying-" Picky says while eating a red velvet cupcake. 

Bubba starts making his way back to the room. "They should be waking up soon but how did they get here is how I'm confused..." 

"Maybe they both died just now...?" Bobby says while looking at Bubba.

"I'll contact Bumble- to confirm..." Bubba says as he steps out the room to make the phone call.

Everyone else starts waiting for Dogday and Catnap to wake up, but until then they all started to play a game of UNO to pass the time.

Bubba comes back from making his phone call. "Guys I got the information, they aren't dead. They found the TV and got sucked in. So, they are both alive right now." He said in his smart voice. He looked at Dogday and saw that his eyes were slightly open and told everyone.

-Dogday's POV-

My body feels cold... and I hear people laughing still with a bunch of chattering.

I blink a little while trying to adjust to the room light.

All I can see is a big white light on a gray ceiling with a fan as well... I look beside me and see Catnap. 

The noise stopped and I started to feel the presence of a bunch of people staring at me.

Where are we...- I groan and put my hand over my eyes. "What's with the bright light..." I say unenergized which is not how I usually am, but after everything I stopped caring about myself and how I carried myself. I just couldn't take it anymore... 

"He seems unenergized Bubba, something is definitely wrong with him!" Hoppy exclaims while pointing at me.

"Mmm..." I sit up and yawn as my eyes get adjusted to what I was seeing they were all there. 

Bobby, Bubba, Kicken, Picky, Hoppy, and Crafty. 

I keep on blinking at them. As I couldn't believe my eyes. I know I saw Kicken and Bobby but all of them... there is no way this is real... I hurry rush out of the bed I was on and go to catnap who was sleeping.

"Catnap I swear if you don't get me out of this nightmare... You are just playing with me! Wake up! Wake up!!!!"  I say and immediately shake catnap to wake up.

I could feel everyone staring at me confused of what I was doing but I can't deal with this again... I can't. Every time it happens. Every time I dream and sleep. I'm reminded of how much of a bad leader I am. I can't take the Burden again just not today...

"CATNAP!" I shout and everyone else's ears go down mine does too from being scared and worried. 

"Bubba is there any other side effects on him- Like I know we all pass out from getting here but I don't think anyone of us experienced this" Hoppy says concerned.

Catnap slowly wakes up from the amount of shaking I was doing. "mm... what is it..." he said in a low tired voice on the verge of going back to sleep. "GET ME OUT OF THIS DREAM" I said while whining.

The purple cat immediately gets up to see everyone there. "Dogday.. this isn't a dream-" Catnap says while holding my arms with my tail. 

"w-what..." I saw while whining and my ears going all the way down. "W-where are we...?" I say while my voice gets a little shaky.

He starts petting my head to calm me down which works a little. He always does that to stop me from panicking and sometimes makes me go to sleep. I start to stop whining and sit on the floor as I start to feel tired again.

"See there isn't nothing to worry about Dogday..." Catnap says as he pets my head with his tail which makes me fall asleep.

-Catnap's POV- 

Once I was done calming Dogday down and putting him to sleep everyone started to look at me.

"Oh... Uhm..." I say while they all stare at me confused on what just happened. I try to avoid eye contact with them, knowing that I killed them, they all hate my guts...

"We need answers now." Kicken says with a strict voice while glaring at me.

"Yeah, yeah. And I just want to say before we get started. Your leader isn't the same anymore alright...?" I say still avoiding eye contact. "He has changed a little..." I mumble

I don't know but maybe this will actually give me some time to actually explain everything that has happened so far, and this could give me a chance to explain what I did and why...

"He isn't the same...? what do you mean..." Bubba askes curiously.

I look up at them and sigh. "I mean that he has changed, like his personality, the way he feels, and just his mood and himself in general. He isn't that happy leader you guys used to see. He has a lot on his mind especially with you guys all gone, he never forgave himself for not saving you all even though he sacrificed himself for all of you." I say in a monotone voice as I look them all in the eye.

Everyone was quiet and was speechless. 

Everyone stared at their broken leader on the floor sleeping peacefully on the ground. 

"Why did you do this to us Catnap..." Bobby askes as her voice was shaky as if she wanted to cry.

I looked at her while looking down at Dogday. 

"If you really all want to know... I was under the prototypes control... Only Dogday knew that because he lived long enough until the player freed me from him. But I never meant to harm or kill any of you. I wasn't in my actually mind state and I couldn't have control over my own body as well." I say truthfully. "I was like a puppet to the prototype..." 

Everyone stays silent again.

"Is that all you guys wanted to ask?" I say while getting up and stretching.

Everyone nods and stays quiet as if they were thinking about something.

"Also, I'm sorry for killing you all. I apologized to Dogday for hurting him as well. I won't ask for forgiveness but just for you guys to know that I truly mean it..."I say while I swing my tail back and forth slowly.

"I-I forgive you..." The blue hairs unicorn says.

"Me too." The bear says as well.

Then too my surprise everyone else started saying that they forgave me. I was in pure shock to hear that... I could kind of feel the tears in my eyes start forming a little, but I wipe them away before saying "Thank you..."
