I stood beside Richie as they sent loogies off the
quarry which I found disgusting and I'm surprised
that I didn't throw up like I normally do. I guess the
stuff I've seen lately definitely tops this.

"Lay it out" "oh, my, god'" "so easy" "poor tree"

Eddie's loogie barley went anywhere which caused
me to laugh.

"Oh, my, god. that was terrible. I win" Richie
cheered.

"You won?"

"Yeah!"

"Did you see my loogie"

"What the one that nearly landed on your toe" I
giggled out as he blushed

"Mine went the furthest, it's by distance"

"Mass. Its always been mass"

"what? what is mass?"

"Who cares about how far it goes"

"It doesn't matter how far it goes. It's how cool it
looks, and it's green or it's white."

"Alright. Who's gonna go first" Bill said shutting the
other two up.

It was a surprise to me that no one of the boys knew I
couldn't swim, I would normally jump off than swim
to the shore immediately because I couldn't swim for longer than two minutes.

"I'll go!" Beverly yelled as she took her dress off then
ran "Sissies!" and jumped

"Ahhh, holy shit, we just got shown off by a girl." I
chuckled at the boys.

"We have to do that now?" Stanley sighed.

"Yes," Eddie spoke up.

"Come on!" Beverly's voice echoed As Ben waved
and Eddie nudged him

Then Bill jumped off, then Ben, Stanely, Eddie which
left me and Richie

"You're not gonna jump are you" he looked at me
and I shook my head

"I can't swim."

"how about you just stay close to me?" he suggested
and I nodded so I grabbed his hand as we both jumped into the water but as soon as I hit it his hand
wrapped around my waist.

Then we went somewhere we could all stand and
began to splash each other, I never loved the quarry
this much.

I got up on Billy's shoulders as Eddie on Ben's
"you ready to lose Kaspbrak!"

"Ohh, Cali you're going down" as we grabbed on to
each other and he shoved me but I shoved him
harder

"Billy splash Ben in the face!" I yelled which he
obeyed which made Ben close his eyes and I shoved
Eddie again which caused them to fall then Bill flung
me back off him as I screamed in happiness.

"You cheater!" Eddie exclaimed with a smile.

"You just suck not my fault!"

"You cheated!"

"I don't know what you're talking about" He splashed
me multiple times

"Kaspbrak you are dead" I ran after him until my foot
landed into a pothole then I face planted into the
water which we all cracked up about.

Bust a move was on the radio as I hummed to it as I
sat next to Stanley but what caught my attention
were the boy's eyes on Beverly even Eddies which
made me uncomfortable so I stood up which caught
Beverly's attention as she looked over and the boys
acted like they weren't looking. Eddie sat where I
was sitting and I stood where he was.
