Its been two months since Neibolt, I never rode my
bike on that road after that day but I was admitted
to hospital for a month since I was really wounded
but I was finally out and now I felt like Eddie because
my mum made me get these specific painkillers that I
needed to refill every week, I ended up getting a
cast on fingers since I broke some without noticing
but that was about it and my stomach had marks
that would take a while to fade but I could live with
it.

I entered the Pharmacy quickly taking a candy bar
and sneaking it into my pocket without no one
noticing as I walked up to the front desk.

"Just the Painkillers Calista?" Mr. Keene questioned
and I nodded as stepped to the side until I heard the
bell ring so I turned around to see Eddie. I hadn't seen him since the accident so I quickly spun back around just as Mr. Keene came back with my painkillers.

"see ya Calista." He said with a smile.

"Bye, Mr. Keene" I looked down at my feet as I
walked past Eddie but he didn't say anything so I
continued out of the store and I walked home but
after about 5 minutes, I heard footsteps behind me
as I ate the chocolate.

"hey.." I knew that voice, of course, it was Eddie..

the only person from the losers club I actually
talked to was Richie nowadays.

"Hi.." I spoke as I looked at his cast which had
"LOSER" written on it.

"Who wrote that?" I said motioning towards the writing on his cast.

"Gretta" he mumbled.

"Bitch, let me do something." I dropped my bag for a
second as I grabbed out a Sharpie.

"You are the cutest boy at school <3 - CG"

"How have you been," I asked as I put the sharpie
back in my bag it was the awkwardest it had ever
been between us and I hated it.

"Terrible, Mum never lets me outside unless I'm going for a refill. But I never saw you go to the Pharmacy before?"

"Well, ever since the incident my mother made me
get painkillers because sometimes my stomach kills
for the night so | haven't been getting much sleep
that's all."

I shrugged as I stopped and looked at Eddie.

"Can I kiss you?" he asked me and I smiled as I
nodded.

He placed his hand on my cheek then he kissed me.

We pulled away and I smiled.

"I couldn't wait to do that again" I smiled as we
began to walk again but he smiled with a blush on
his cheeks.

"W-w-would you date me?" he asked nervously.

"Definitely."

"Calista Lucy Grossman, would you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course" I kissed his cheek as the awkwardness
went away and I finally had Eddie back and I was
dating him. my life was taking a turn in the right
direction.

I sat down at my house, strumming the guitar my
father use to play but obviously didn't anymore until
I heard a crash from downstairs so I placed the
guitar down as I grabbed the baseball bat from
under my bed.

"Mum!" I yelled through the house but I didn't get an
answer so I stalked downstairs but there was no one
home.

I heard raspy breathing coming from behind me so l
froze up.
