- ONE WEEK LATER -
"You think you're so cool, huh? Hanging out with the bad boy legend Gabriel Mayne? Well, you're not cool freak so wake up and get over yourself." Trevor was too close for comfort, his face pulled up in a sneer. Violet was next to him, her face equally as close in a glare.
"Yeah freak, he's too hot for you. He'd never go for a freak like you!" I couldn't agree more. This past week was hell from both the twins from hell and Gabriel. They taunted me at school while Gabriel taunted me after school when I was with Sophia. The dude still hated me for no reason. Jeez, I'm just a magnet for hate.
"I-I don't hang out with him." Violet shoves me against the lockers behind me with a scoff. I give a quiet oomph as the air leaves my body.
"As if I'd believe a freak like you, we saw you and freak number two getting into his car last week. He probably had his way with both of you." Her face scrunched up in mock disgust and I felt tears prick my eyes. This wasn't right. Gabriel would never touch me and Sophia was his cousin.
"N-No h-he didn't, and Sophia wouldn't do something like that." Trevor laughs and looks at me with his ugly smirk.
"That slut? She lost her virginity the first week of her freshman year!"
"Hey asshole, I'd watch who you're talking about. I don't think your girlfriend appreciates the bad mouthing." I looked over and saw Sophia, a glare on her face, her arms crossed over her chest tightly. Trevor looked at her in surprise and Violet gasped, slapping Trevor's arm hard. Ha, they were such idiots.
"You were talking about me?!" Violet screeched," You dick! I knew I should've never slept with you!" Violet hit Trevor again before stomping down the hallway, her heels clicking against the aluminum flooring quickly. Trevor looked after Violet before turning to us with a glare, his finger swinging from me to Sophia.
"This isn't over bitches, I'll be back and next time, I won't play nice." Really? Play nice? What is this, kindergarden? Trevor stormed after Violet, occasionally calling out her name in hopes of stopping her. Once they were out of earshot, I finally let my giggle out, and then another until I was full on laughing. I clutched my sides as they began to hurt, the once sad tears turning to happy ones.
Sophia was laughing next to me and soon we had to lean against each other because of how hard we were laughing.
"Oh...my...gosh! That...was..awesome." I managed to choke out through my laughter. Sophia nodded her head slowly, her laughter still closing her air ways. After awhile our laughter died away and Sophia was panting heavy, when I soon realized that I was too.
" Come on, my house, study party and pizza." Sophia smiled at me and I nodded.
"Although, I would think the pizza is part of the party." Sophia giggled and nodded as we made our way to the front, glad the day was finally over. Sophia's car was parked in its usual spot and I climbed in, the cold leather seat calming my nerves as my back leaned into it. The drive was short, as Sophia lived close to the school but was too lazy to walk, and we got out, happy to be at her house.
"Gabe's home early and I don't recognize that car." Sophia frowned as she stared at the two cars parked in her driveway before she parked next to the curb. We got out, walking up to her house, and Sophia unlocked the door, swinging it open to let me in. Stepping inside Sophia screamed out. "Gabe, I'm home!" We heard shuffling from upstairs and Gabriel came walking down the stairs, unfamiliar guys walking behind him.
"Hey Soph, my friends came over to visit, hope you don't mind." Sophia smiled at the guys, holding a hand out to shake each one's hand while I simply waved. "Soph this is Cole, Cole, Sophia and Jasmine." Cole was hot but not as hot as Gabriel, his face making him look a good year and a half older than Gabriel. He had cropped blonde hair and exquisite green eyes. He smiled, showing off white teeth.
