Good God, Y'all!

I stood in the hall of the hospital next to Sam with Wyatt in my arms as we watched Bobby. He sat in his wheelchair, facing the window and staring out. Evie sat in the room with him. Bobby had been pretty silent.

"Hey, baby." Dean's hand was on my waist as he brushed past me, a manila envelope in his other hand.

"Hey." I gave him a small smile.

"What's up, little man?" Dean tickled Wyatt's stomach. He giggled in return, squirming in my arms. "It's been, like, three days now? We gotta cheer him up. Maybe I'll give him a back rub."

"When is the last time you gave anyone a back rub?" I asked.

"Uh, how do you think that happened?" Dean gestured to Wyatt.

I shrugged. "Fair point."

"Exactly." Dean nodded.

Sam gave us both a look.

"Well, what, then?" Dean asked.

"Look, we might have to wrap our heads around the idea that Bobby might not just bounce back this time." Sam said. "What's in the envelope?"

"Went down to radiology, got some glamour shots." Dean pulled an x-ray from the envelope. "Let's just say the doctors are baffled."

Sam held the photo up to the light, revealing the sternum and ribs with symbols covering them. "Holy crap."

"It looks pretty sick." Millie stated.

"Yeah, well, Cas carved you one too." Dean shrugged. After Cas had done that to Sam, Dean and I, he had also marked Millie and the kids.

Sam's phone rang. He pulled it out. "Hello?" He paused. "Castiel?"

"Speak of the devil." Dean muttered.

"Was that really the best choice of words for the moment?" I asked.

"Uh, St. Matin's Hospital. Why, what are you--?" Sam began. "Cas?" He shoved his phone back in his pocket.

"Hey, did you ever go and get tested?" Dean asked me.

"You make it sound like there's something wrong with me." I blinked.

"You know what I meant."

"No. I didn't." I admitted. "I think Zachariah was lying. There's no way I'm pregnant."

"So you're just gonna live in denial for months?" Dean asked.

"I'll go to the doctor later." I told him. "You've been really adamant on this."

"I just want to know for sure."

Moments later, Cas was walking down the hall toward us.

"Cell phone, Cas?" Dean asked. "Since when do angels need to reach out and touch someone?"

"You're hidden from angels now. All angels. I won't be able to simply--" Cas began.

"Enough foreplay." Bobby spoke up.

"I like that part though." Millie joked.

"Mills." I complained.

"Get over here and lay your damn hands on." Bobby continued. "Get healing now."

"I can't." Cas admitted.

Bobby turned his wheelchair to face us. "Say again?"

Cas walked into the room. "I'm cut off from heaven, much of heaven's power. Certain things I can do, certain things I can't."
