Abandon All Hope
"No, I won't let you." Ellen told her daughter.
"This is why we're here, right?" Jo asked. "If I can get us a shot on the devil...Dean, you have to take it."
"No." Ellen said through tears. "That's not--"
"Mom. This might literally be your last chance to treat me like an adult." Jo took her mother's hand. "You might wanna take it."
Ellen bit back a sob, nodding her head. "You heard her." She said, voice shaking. "Get to work."

With the bombs lined from the door halfway to Jo, we were finishing up a few last things. Night had fallen by now. We were running out of time. Dean handed Jo the detonator.
"Okay, this is it." Dean said. "I'll see you on the other side. Probably sooner than later."
"Make it later." Jo told him.
Dean pressed a kiss to her head before standing up.
I sat down next to her. "I'm sorry I couldn't save you."
Jo shook her head. "Don't worry about it."
"I wish we got a chance to be closer friends." I told her. We were friends, sure. We talked occasionally. Every once in a while one of us would call the other.
"Me too." Jo gave my hand a squeeze.
I squeezed back as Ellen knelt next to her daughter. I stood, moving away to give them some space.
Ellen just looked at her. Jo knew her plan.
"Mom, no." Jo whispered.
"Somebody's gotta let them in." Ellen stated. "And like you said, you're not moving. You got me, Jo. And you're right. This is important. But I will not leave you here alone. Get going now." She told us.
"Ellen." Dean began.
"I said go. And, Dean...kick it in the ass. Don't miss."
I slipped my hand into Dean's as we made our way to the back door.

As we moved down the street, the building exploded. Fire and glass shooting everywhere. Smoke billowed up into the sky, a nasty black color.
They were gone.
I couldn't save them.
I hated it.
I hated myself for it.
"Saige." Millie set a hand on my shoulder. "We need to go."
"It should've been me." I whispered. "I was supposed to be there."
If Sam hadn't pulled me back, I would've ran to Dean. The hellhound would've gotten me. Jo shouldn't have died. I should have.
"Si." Dean gently took my hand, pulling me down the street.

Peeking through the treeline into the field, I saw people standing in a line, completely still. A small fire blazed between two rows of people. In front of them, a man stood, digging a large hole in the ground. Lucifer.
"I guess we know what happened to the townspeople." Dean said.
"Okay." Sam breathes.
"Okay."
"Last words?"
Dean was quiet for a moment or two. "I think I'm good."
"Yeah, me too."
