Donna placed a plate of cookies on the coffee table between us. "Dean and Sammy Winchester. So how long has it been?"

"Summer before sixth grade." Sam stated.

"Mm. I remember." Donn nodded her head. "You assigned yourself your own reading list and convinced Saige to do the same so you could do it together."

I laughed a little, leaning back on the couch. "That's right. I forgot about that."

Evie looked around at the mention of Si's name. Two and a half months had gone by and she still didn't quite understand why Si wasn't around.

"Your mom happens to be the best babysitter we ever had." Sam told Katie, who sat next to her mom.

"Well, when I was a maid at the Mayflower, out on the interstate. Long before you were even an idea. Their daddy used to pass through town and leave the boys and a friend of theirs with me while he and a friend of his went off to work." Donna said that last part slowly as if trying to figure out a way to get around what dad did. "One time, they were gone for two weeks."

"Two weeks?" Kate repeated.

"Mm-hm. Oh, he always came limping back." Donna poured a glass of lemonade. "He loved you boys."

"Do you know what he did all that time?" Katie asked.

"Little Sammy kept trying to tell me. Of course I didn't believe him. Not at first anyway." Donna said.

"Katie, our dad, uh, happened to be an expert at getting rid of ghosts and now so are we." Sam explained.

"That's why I called them, sweetie. They can help us." Donna told her daughter.

"Sounds like you guys got a poltergeist." I stated as Donna's husband walked in.

"Started a month or two after me moved in." He told me.

"Yeah, at first it was, uh, just bumps and knocks and scratches on the walls and then it started breaking things." Donna added.

"And then it attacked Katie?" Sam asked.

"That was two night's ago." Donna's husband stated.

"Can you show them, honey?" Donna asked her daughter.

Katie stood, discarding the blanket she had. She lifted her shirt just enough to reveal the words 'Murdered Chylde' carved into her stomach.

Katie dropped her shirt, sitting back down.

"Murdered child." Sam mumbled.

"Katie, everything's gonna be fine, I promise." I told her. She smiled a little. "Why don't you guys take yourselves a little vacation and we'll take care of it."

Donna sighed. "Thank you."

I stood at the counter at a diner as a teenage boy placed a tray in front of me. "Two Bacon Burger Turbos, large chili-cheese fry, an extra order of fries and a HealthQuake Salad Shake." He stated, sounding uncertain near the end.

"I know. I know. It's, uh--" I cleared my throat. "It's not mine."

I grabbed the tray, moving back toward the table where I left Sam and Millie with the kids. I sat down as Sam grabbed the cup of salad. I handed him a fork, giving him a look as he glanced down at the computer in front of him.

"Are you a fucking rabbit or something?" Millie asked, grabbing her burger as Sam poured salad dressing into the cup.

"Hey, kids are present." I said.
