The nation, now a shell of its former self, served as a stark reminder of the consequences of division and exclusion. The dream of a homogenous society had turned into a nightmare of economic collapse, cultural devastation, and civil war. The people who had called for the deportations were left to live with the consequences of their choices, realizing too late the value of the diversity they had cast aside.
In the end, the United States, once a beacon of hope and opportunity, was reduced to a fractured, isolated, and struggling nation. Meanwhile, the deported non-European heritage citizens thrived in their new homes, contributing to vibrant, growing economies and cultures. The lesson was bitter and clear: the strength of a nation lies in its diversity, and the cost of division is too high to bear. Be careful what you wish for, it may come true, and you might not like the results.
I added these sources to provide a factual basis for the scenario I described, emphasizing the importance of diversity and the potential consequences of exclusionary policies.
This short story is a call for the citizens of the United States of America to seek peace, love, and understanding. Our country has become too toxic, and it literally hurts all of us and our nation. We can do better, and we must never give up trying to improve and help each other so that all communities can thrive and prosper in the United States of America. Peace and love to all.
