When I woke up it was early in the morning and dad was still asleep. I got out of his grip and went to my room.

I grabbed my towel before going to the restroom to shower.

I haven't showered in...I think three days?

Gross.

After my long shower, I went to my room to change.

Once I was changed into my outfit, I combed my hair.

Then I walked to the kitchen and on my way there, I saw Shadow.

"Hey, Shadow. It's been a long time, huh?"

She ran to me and tried to climb up on me. I laughed and bent down to pick her up.

As I held her, she nuzzled into my neck and was purring.

I have her some scratches and rubs for a long time before putting her down and going to feed her.

She walked to her food bowl and started to eat as I washed my hands and started to make some breakfast for dad and I.

I decided to make an "American Breakfast" that consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon and some orange juice.

As I was flipping the last pancake, dad came rushing from the hallway.

He looked around the room before his eyes landed on me, flipping a pancake.

"Morning." I said.

He let out a sigh and walked over to me and kissed the top of my head.

"Don't ever do that again."

"Do what?"

"Leave without me knowing."

"I just went to shower and make breakfast."

"It doesn't matter. From this point on, you are not leaving my sight."

"What?"

"You heard me. I have to go to the school today and you are coming with me."

"Ugh. Can't I take a break. I just got kidnapped."

"Don't joke like that."

"Sorry, but I'm serious."

"So am I. It won't take long. I hope."

"Fine. Now, let's eat. The food is probably cold."

"Did you feed Shadow, yet?"

"Yeah, I did."

After we finished eating and I cleaned everything up, we left to UA.

Dad didn't tell me why we were going to UA, just that it was important.

Once we got to UA, dad made me sit by the door outside of the principal's office.
