"So we're back to normal classes tomorrow, right?" Jiro asked.

"I suppose there's no rest for heroes." Yao-momo said.

We finally made it back to our dorms and right now everyone was in the common room talking and hanging out.

I sat on the couch with Shadow in my lap, purring as I pet her.

I was talking to some of the girls about anything that came to mind.

Everyone laughed and had a good time until they decided to head to bed.

I went to my door and put Shadow on my bed. I sat on my bed and waited around ten minutes before heading to the common room to wait for Zuku.

I sat down on the couch and patiently waited for Zuku to come down.

After five minutes, I decided to send him a text saying that I was already in the common room.

After two more minutes, he still didn't answer.

"Did he fall asleep or is he just ignoring me?" I whispered to myself.

I waited for a couple more minutes before I started to get angry.

I got up from the couch and went to his dorm.

I knocked on the door but no one answered. I realized the door was cracked open and I took a small look inside.

He wasn't there.

"Where did he go?" I whispered again.

I closed his door and went back to the first floor.

I walked outside and looked around. After not seeing anything, I looked closer to the school and saw some green lighting. It looked like when Zuku activated his quirk.

I didn't believe it at first and continued to look as best as I could see.

I saw it again and this time, it wasn't just that. Smoke came out from where I saw the green lighting.

"Don't tell me he and Bakugo are fighting?" I almost screamed.

I used air to lift me up to see better. And I was right.

I saw some traces of Zuku's and Bakugo's quirk at ground Beta.

I quickly went back down to the floor and took out my phone to call dad.

I don't care if they get in trouble as long as they don't get hurt. I'm so mad at Izuku now.

He answered on the first ring.

"What, Mai? You should be sleeping."

"Dad, I'm pretty sure Bakugo and Zuku are fighting at Ground Beta."

"What? Are you positive?"

"Yes! I was going to talk to Zuku about something but he didn't show. I went outside to see if he was out here, then I saw an explosion and traces of Midoriya's quirk far away!"

"Okay, go inside. I'll handle this." He let out a sigh.

"Okay." I said before hanging up and going inside to sit in the common room to wait for them.

----

I managed to fall asleep on the couch as I waited for them to come back.

I woke up to the door opening and saw that it was dad.

I don't think I've ever seen him so mad. He saw me sitting down and sat next to me.

He put his arm around my shoulder and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Where are Bakugo and Zuku?"

"All Might went to handle it."

"I'm not in trouble, right?" I asked.

"No. Technically, you didn't break the curfew. You just looked out for a friend."

"Good. But don't go easy on them. They know they shouldn't break the rules, especially in times like these."

He stayed quiet for some time before asking me a question I know he's been dying to ask.

"You haven't had a panic attack in a while, right?"

"No. I do flinch when I hear his name but other than that, I think I'm getting better. Ochaco, Toki, Zuku and the others do help, too."

"Good." He kissed my head before the door opened and he quickly got up and used his scarf to wrap Zuku and Bakugo.

I followed after him.

"You fought the night you finished the preliminary her licensing exam? I'm glad to see that you two have so much energy." Dad said, as he tightened the scarf around them two.

"Aizawa, wait, hold up with those restraints. It's my fault they sparred in the first place."

"Huh?" I could see his eye was twitching.

"Your fault? And how is that?"

He walked closer to dad but I could still hear him.

"It seems Young Bakugo had been feeling like he was responsible for my retirement. He had to face the licensing exam with those pent-up emotions and then his inferiority complex exploded and this happened. It's all because I didn't realize I was being negligent. This whole fight was brought about because of the failure of his teacher."

Damn, I didn't know Bakugo was feeling the same thing I was. I just know who to put those feelings aside and focus on the things at hand.

Dad then loosened up the scarf on them.

"I understand that they felt they had to break the rules. But this isn't something I can just ignore. There must be a suitable punishment. Who threw the first punch?"

"I did." Bakugo said.

"I also went pretty hard. It wasn't just him." Zuku said.

"You're both on house arrest. Four days for Bakugo and three for Midoriya. During that time, you'll clean all the common areas in the dorm, morning and night. Plus, I want a written apology. If your injuries need to be checked out, head to the infirmary. But don't rely on the old lady's quirk this time. Figure out a way to heal yourselves." He basically yelled before letting out a huge sigh.

"That's all! Go." Dad said before walking out. All Might followed him.

We all stood in silence for a while, gathering our thoughts.

I'll talk to them right now while I heal their injuries as best as I can.

I wonder what house arrest is going to look like for them. Sending them luck.
