33- Too Many Questions

Summary: After saying hello to someone you haven't in a while, you get invited to some fun in the sun with Mina, Izuku, and a few others from your class.

You wake to the blinding light peeking through your curtains and the sound of happy chatter from downstairs.

Your eyebrows furrowed.

Happy?

You get dressed and do your daily get ready things, and head downstairs.

When you turn the corner, you hear a familiar, friendly voice.

You run up behind the boy.

"Natsuo!" you shout happily, hugging him tightly.

"Y/n, how are you!?" he asked, turning around and hugging you back tighter. "Holy- you've gotten so much taller! I've only been gone a few months but I feel like I've been gone for years," he laughed.

You pulled away from the hug. "It's good to have you home."

"It's good to be home," your older brother, Natsuo, responded with a chuckle.

That's when you noticed Shoto and Fuyumi were also downstairs. Shoto sat at the bar counter in the kitchen, watching Fuyumi cook breakfast.

"So, has my little bro gotten a girl yet? I wouldn't be surprised, considering you got the looks side of the genes!" Natsuo laughs, sitting down next to Shoto.

Fuyumi responded for him. "Actually, Y/n has got a little someone!" she says happily, flipping the fried eggs in the pan.

Natsuo's smile dropped. "What's his name?"

"Izuku Midor-"

"What's his age?"

"He's 16-"

"How is his home life?"

"Pretty good, I would assume-"

"Is he a serial killer?"

"Dear, GOD why does everyone ask that question-"

"Have you had sex with him?"

"Excuse me!? Would you let me breathe!?" you shouted over him.

He stopped his rant.

"Okay, his name is Izuku Midoriya, he's my age, 16, I met his mother last night when he took me out for a date, he's NOT a serial killer, and no, I haven't had sex with him yet," you finished all in one breath, inhaling largely afterward.

"Yet?"

"I swear to God, go back to school!" you joked, shoving him a little.

You were going to ask Fuyumi where your father was, but decided against bringing up such a melancholy subject at such a good time.

Once Fuyumi dished out the eggs and bacon she cooked up, you ate slowly, relishing in the home cooked breakfast.

Shoto, on the other hand, ate quickly, shoveling the food into his mouth.

The three of you watched as he took his last bite, grabbing his bag and jogging to the door.

"Shoto, where are you going in such a hurry?" Fuyumi asked, following him to the door.

"The hospital."

Her eyes widened as did yours.

He couldn't be going to see her, right?

"The- hospital? You can't go without telling father, surely, right?" she asked in a hurry.

He continued out the door.

"Yes I can."

"Why now? Why after so many years, Shoto!?" Fuyumi yelled after him as he ran out the door, walking down the driveway without another word.

Then, he paused.

"Y/n?" he asked, turning around.

You made your way to the door, surprised he wanted to talk to you.

"Would you like to come with?"

You thought for a moment.

Would this be good for you? Or would she scream for you to get out?

It seemed like yours and Shoto's very existence drove her insane.

"Shoto...I don't think I can. Not yet, anyway. I'm sorry," you said, the fear of being rejected like when you were a child eating you whole.

He nodded. "I understand. Enjoy your day off, Y/n."

And he left.

Your phone dinged from your pocket.

MINA

Hey girl! Me and a few others are hanging out at the beach today! Wanna join?

You smiled.

Your first friend hangout.

MINA

Kaminari, Sero, Kirishima, Jiro, and me, of course.

Okay. Could I invite Midoriya along?

You laughed.

Once you got the time and place from her, you went to text Izuku.

He took a minute to respond.

Your smile widened.

Natsuo raised an eyebrow at you.

"Who's got you all giddy this morning?"

You blushed.

"It's him~" Fuyumi joked.

Natsuo rolled his eyes.

"Teenagers."

"Fuyumi?" you called down the stairs.

"Clothes, again?"
