Summary: A dog pays you a visit and Uraraka gives Izuku a call.

~Y/n Todoroki~

After a short conversation about the possibility of Stain actually letting you all survive, there was a knock at the door as if opened.

"Oh, all the wounded warriors are awake!" A short, old man in a simple hero costume spoke, and you assumed by Izuku's description of him that it was Gran Torino, the legend that made All Might piss his pants by merely being mentioned.

"Gran Torino!" Izuku looked surprised.

"Mr Manual!" Ida bowed his head from his hospital bed.

"Gang Orca! What are you guys doing here?" You asked, wiping the sleepiness from your eyes.

"I'm still gonna chew you out, but..." Gran Torino started, making his way over to Izuku.

"Before that, you have a visitor, all of you," he finished, motioning towards the door, where you looked to see a- man/dog guy standing at the door frame.

"This is Hosu's chief of police, Mr Kenji Tsuragamae."

"Please stay seated, woof!"

Your jaw went slack. Did he just say woof?

Izuku, with his own slack jaw, closed yours with his hand.

"Ch-chief of police!?" Izuku shook his head, coming back to reality.

"So you're the UA students who put a stop to the hero killer, woof?" The dog-man asked us rhetorically, and all you could focus on was trying to not giggle.

"As for the hero killer, he's in treatment for his severe burns, broken bones, and a series of other injuries, woof," he informed you, taking a turn to make eye contact with each of you.

"Recently, the police moved to prioritize leadership and to maintain the status quo, they decided to not use quirks as weapons. The profession of "hero" would be the one to fill that void, woof," he continued and your eyebrows furrowed. Where was he going with this?

"Using a power that could easily kill is very much criticized in the public eye, putting a garner on public support. All because your predecessors acted morally and complied with the laws. But those without permission and those who inflicted harm without instruction from any heroes or police around them even when facing someone like the hero killer, results in a stunning breach of the law, woof," he told you, and you felt your blood boil.

"That's bullshit-!" you cut in, earning a wave to settle down from Gang Orca.

You slouched back in your spot.

"You three, as well as your pro hero mentors, Endeavor, Manual, and Gran Torino, will be dealt with impartially. Now, regarding you, Ms Todoroki, were given permission to join the fight, am I correct?" Mr Kenji asked you, walking a little closer to your spot.

"Y-yes. I was told to put out fires and protect the people, sir," you confirmed, slightly guilty for your earlier outburst.

"You as well as Gang Orca will not be facing any unnecessary discipline, seeing as you had permission from a pro," he concluded with you. You felt a weight lifted off your shoulders.

"Thank you, sir."

"Thank the law, dear."

"Hold on a minute, If Ida hadn't acted, Native would've been killed," Shoto stood up, earning a quiet "Todoroki, no-" from Ida.

"And if Midoriya hadn't shown up, both would be dead. Same with Y/n coming along. All four of us would have been done. And considering that she had permission, she fought most of the time anyways after the rest of us had been immobilized," he said to him, and you fought back a smile.

"I mean, nobody even knew the hero killer was in town. Should we have seriously let people die, all in the name of your 'law'!?" Shoto shouted, being held back gently by Izuku and Ida as he took a step forward. "Everything turned out fine, so just forget about the fucking law for now!"

"Isn't it a hero's job to save people?" Shoto asked angrily.

"Clearly, you've much to learn. Some education you're receiving," The dog commented.

"You damn mutt!"

"Stop, this is serious, Todoroki!"

You hid your face in Izuku's arm, tuning out the rest of the conversation.

-

"As long as you're all okay, you and Ida and the Todorokis," Uraraka said to Izuku on speakerphone. "I got super worried when all you sent out was a location," she said.

"Yeah, it was all I really had time to send out, sorry," Izuku scratched the back of his neck.

"Yeah, well, rest easy for now! I'll hear the rest later!" you could practically hear her smile.

You heard a different voice from the other end, assuming it was Gunhead.

"-Maybe, a love interest?" you heard him say and your eyebrows furrowed.

"It better not be," you muttered under your breath, Izuku hearing and pressing a kiss to your temple.

"N-no, that's not it!" she hung up quickly, and Izuku put his phone down.

"Aw, c'mere," he chuckled once he spotted the small pout on your face, pulling you close to him and pressing feather light kisses all over your face. You giggled, trying to break free from his grasp.

Unbeknownst to you, Shoto smiled softly at the interaction.

You really were perfect for each other.
