Summary: You're alerted that Hosu is being attacked and you discover something more about yourself.

~Y/n Todoroki~

You wrapped your fists tighter, going back to the punching bag in front of you.

Large beads of sweats rippled down your forehead, regardless of the cold atmosphere of the training room.

Gang Orca supervised your movements, occasionally giving you pointers and tips on how to get in a firmer punch.

The only sounds in the room were your gasps for air and your fists colliding harshly with the bag.

Once you stopped for a water break, Gang Orca had been alerted that there was a large group of Nomu rampaging the streets of Hosu.

Your eyes widened at the news.

"Really? Is there anything I can do?" You asked as you and Gang orca, along with a small group of minor pro heroes ran to the designated area.

"I'm sure. Technically, you aren't allowed to use your quirk out in public yet because you don't have your license, but with my verbal permission, you can jump in at any time," he told you gruffly as you looked ahead, spotting large clouds of smoke billowing out over the city's landscape.

"Right!" you smiled, running out ahead and towards the fearful screams.

As you and Gang Orca split ways, he shouted to you, "Use your quirk, Aquamarine! Put out the fires!" and you nodded determinedly.

Now was finally your chance (besides the sports fest) to show the public what you were capable of.

You raised your hands and along with them a large current of water materialized in front of you, splashing up against a burning building. You heard screams from inside and ran past the firemen and women and into the building.

You ran between isles of cubicles, trying to find any stray workers.

"Hey! I'm here to help! Keep yelling so I can make my way over to you!" you shout out, and hear a couple pleas of help all around you, and combined with the smoke that was now getting to your head, you felt a little dizzy.

But you kept forward, heading to the shout that sounded closest to you.

You saw a woman trapped underneath a burning pillar, and while expertly avoiding the screeching woman, you put out the fire. With great strength, you lifted the pillar off of the woman with your quickly vaporizing water.

"I- I can't walk!" she cried and your eyes widened.

You hoisted her up by her waist and led her over to a desk.

"Climb on my back, I'll get you to safety!" you told her, crouching over to the woman's height.

She gratefully climbed on, holding onto your shoulders for dear life.

When you heard another shout for help.

You ran as quickly as you could with the woman on your back, and reassured the other crying lady you found hidden under a desk that you would take care of her.

Turns out, she was having a hard time walking as well.

You shifted the woman you already had on your back to your right shoulder, letting the other one prop on your left.

You trudged as quickly as you could through the fire-covered building, using what little water you could conjure to clear a path.

The building started to collapse, and the two women trembled in fear. Your eyes widened. You had to get these women to safety.

Your vision was starting to blur and you could tell the women weren't doing much better.

The woman that could still partially walk had fainted, and you were carrying two women's dead weight.

As you marched to the exit, a large piece of the ceiling fell down in front of it, rendering it unusable.

You located a window nearby and kicked it out, luckily being on the first floor once more, you stepped out, both women dangling from your grasp. Two officers came to your aid, pulling them off your singed, tired, and hazy self.

You heard a loud screech from behind you and you turned around, seeing nothing.

You looked up right as two pairs of claws grabbed both of your shoulders, hoisting you up and into the air.

You screamed, trying to free yourself from the pterodactyl-like Nomu, grabbing helplessly at the claws dug into your skin.

You were 20 feet off the ground at this point.

You kept rising.

The Nomu kept screeching, flying you higher into the damp atmosphere.

"Let me go, dammit!" you yelled, your air intake getting lower the higher you went up.

You couldn't see the city below the smoke, and you were now hundreds of feet off the ground.

You felt yourself losing your grip and your lungs weren't getting the air they needed.

Your vision went hazy once again and you suddenly felt the claws retracting. You felt yourself plummeting downwards, the wind whipping through your hair as you fell.

Suddenly getting the oxygen back, you woke up and looked at your reality.

You needed to think quickly.

As you descended quickly towards the ground, you began to conjure up as much water from the oxygen as you could, but as you reached closer to the ground, it wasn't enough.

You closed your eyes, taking in a deep breath, and focusing on your fear of dying.

Suddenly your body heated up immensely, and you sprayed out the water underneath your feet, hoping to create a ramp.

Then, your water morphed into a bright red, glowing an orange hue. It was hot, too. You felt the heat reaching through your shoes. But it didn't burn you.

The magma, lava-like substance caught you in a wave, gently setting you down on the ground.

Your eyes widened.

What was that?

You looked down at your hands.

What was that!?
