Nitya's eyes shimmered with anticipation and nervousness as she stood at the threshold, her bridal attire enveloping her in a veil of elegance. A kind-hearted woman welcomed her into the house, her warmth adding a touch of comfort to Nitya's heart.
"Thank you so much, Kamla ji, for welcoming the bride into this house. There isn't any other woman in this house," Dadu Ji expressed his gratitude, a gentle smile gracing his lips.
"Oh, come on, Bhaisahab. As a neighbor, it's the least I can do, and Nitya is like a daughter to us too. Alright, I'll take my leave now; it's quite late, and you both need rest. Aniket beta, take care of your wife. Alright then, goodbye, Bhaisahab," Kamla ji bid her farewell, her words filled with genuine concern and affection.
"Yes, indeed. Thank you once again, Sister," Dadu Ji reciprocated the sentiment, his eyes reflecting appreciation.
As Kamla ji departed, Aniket and Nitya stepped into the house, seeking Subodh's blessings. His words of wisdom and love washed over them, filling their hearts with warmth and reassurance.
"Always be happy, my child. Be each other's support, take care of one another," Subodh blessed them, his voice imbued with the wisdom of age and the tenderness of a loving elder.
"Aniket, son, take Nitya to your room. I also need to rest now," he continued, his gaze softening as he glanced at the newlyweds.
"Yes, Dadu Ji, please go ahead," Aniket nodded respectfully. "I'll take very good care of Nitya," he promised, his voice filled with sincerity and devotion.
Nitya's heart pounded with fear as Aniket's grip tightened around her hand, his eyes ablaze with anger. She felt a surge of pain shoot through her as he dragged her forcefully towards the stairs, his harsh words echoing in her ears.
"Aniket, please... you're hurting me," she pleaded, her voice trembling with fear.
But her cries fell on deaf ears as Aniket continued to drag her upstairs, his grip unyielding. With each step, Nitya's sense of dread deepened, her heart wrenching with every harsh word that escaped Aniket's lips.
As they reached the doorway to their room, Nitya's heart sank, her breath catching in her throat. Aniket pushed her roughly inside, causing her to stumble and fall onto the bed. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked up at him, her eyes filled with pain and confusion.
"Aniket, please... why are you doing this?" she sobbed, her voice barely above a whisper.
But Aniket showed no mercy, his expression cold and unforgiving as he grabbed her by the shoulder, forcing her to look into his eyes.
"You chose this, Nitya. You chose to marry me, to become my wife," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "Well, now you'll have to face the consequences of that choice. From today onwards, you'll learn what it means to be married to me. You'll learn to obey me, to submit to my will, whether you like it or not."
In the dim twilight of their chamber, Nitya's heart throbbed with a chilling dread that sent shivers down her spine. Aniket's cruel words had shattered her dreams like fragile glass, leaving her trapped in a nightmare that she had never imagined.
As his grip tightened around her, Nitya's body froze in a state of disbelief. The once-familiar embrace now felt like a prison, suffocating her with its cold, oppressive weight. Darkness enveloped her, threatening to consume her very soul.
With trembling hands, Nitya closed her eyes, hot tears streaming down her cheeks. She remained motionless, her body a vessel of broken promises and shattered hopes. Aniket's gaze burned into her, his eyes blazing with a sinister intent that made her recoil in terror.
