Nitya fell unconscious in his arms, causing Aniket's heart to race with fear. "Nitya, wake up... Utho... Nitya," he pleaded, his voice trembling with concern.
He cradled her gently, carrying her to their room and laying her down on the bed with utmost care. With shaking hands, he reached for his phone, dialing the doctor's number in a panic. Moments later, the doctor arrived, his presence bringing a semblance of reassurance to Aniket's frazzled nerves.
"How is my wife, Doctor? Did something serious happen to her?" Aniket asked anxiously, his eyes fixed on Nitya's pale face.
The doctor examined Nitya carefully before turning to Aniket, his expression grave yet composed.
"Mr. Sharma, your wife is not in serious condition. Due to dehydration and exertion, her blood pressure dropped, causing her to faint. Moreover, she's pregnant. But Mr. Sharma, you need to take good care of her. How did she get dehydrated, and why is her health deteriorating like this?" the doctor inquired, his tone tinged with concern.
"I wasn't with her, Doctor, but there won't be any negligence now... Because I won't ever leave her side," Aniket vowed, his voice firm with determination.
"Alright, I'm prescribing a medicine. Give it to her twice a day. If there are any further issues, don't hesitate to call," the doctor instructed before departing, leaving Aniket alone with his unconscious wife.
Aniket sat beside Nitya, his eyes never leaving her face as he gently caressed her forehead, willing her to wake up. He leaned down, pressing a tender kiss to her temple, his heart aching at the sight of her fear-stricken reaction even in her unconscious state.
Aniket continued to caress her gently, his touch a soothing balm to her troubled soul. "Nitya, I'm here, I'm no one else but Aniket," he reassured her, his voice filled with love and concern as he stroked her cheek tenderly.
Slowly, Nitya opened her eyes, her gaze meeting Aniket's with a mix of relief and gratitude. She attempted to speak, but Aniket gently placed a finger on her lips, silencing her.
Sitting up, Nitya watched as Aniket tenderly began to remove her ornaments, one by one. His actions were filled with such care and affection that tears welled up in her eyes.
As he leaned in to kiss her forehead, eyes, nose, and cheeks, Nitya felt a surge of warmth and love enveloping her. Finally, he planted a tender kiss on her lips, sealing their unspoken bond of love and understanding.
"You've stopped taking care of yourself, haven't you? But now, your stubbornness won't work anymore, Nitya. What you used to do at your parents' house won't be acceptable here," Aniket gently chided, his voice laced with concern, as she hugged him tightly, her tears dampening his shirt. Aniket gently wiped them away, his heart aching at her distress.
"And this crying won't work either, neither for you nor for our child. And what's with neglecting yourself and the baby?" he expressed, his worry evident in his tone.
"I don't want anything without you, Aniket, neither this life nor this child," Nitya uttered tearfully, her voice choked with emotion, as she clung to him desperately. Aniket held her closer, his arms providing a sense of security and solace.
"I want to see everything with you now, Nitya. I've made a mistake by separating us once. I won't have the courage or the strength to do it again," he confessed, his voice filled with sincerity and remorse, as he pressed another tender kiss to her lips.
She held him tighter, feeling a sense of completeness and reassurance in his embrace, as they vowed to face life's challenges together, united in their love and devotion.
