Ok soooo, I was originally going to make this another IDW fan book but then decided, you know what? Why go by the rules of someone else's universe and try to add my own plot when I can just make my own?!
Thank you for the idea @ItzViza :)
And so, this one's gonna be featured after the war, though it will be similar to IDW in terms of characters and some plot but a lot is also going to be different. Not a lot but just enough to give you people some idea
And there may be some crossovers cause I am a sucker for them and Brainstorm's going to be one of the main characters so ya know... ✨dimension and time travel✨
And I'm just going to say it now, don't worry if you get confused in this first chapter, it's supposed to be like that to keep ya in suspense.
So enjoy it because all control of the direction of this book went out the window the second I started writing this B).
Two weeks ago—————-
You never forget your first time in space, alone and drifting in a quiet abyss. There's no noise, you're weightless and completely isolated in the sparkling expanse. I should know, because it was how I woke up.
The first thing I remembered when I opened my optics was that dazzling sight around me.
It was dark, but there was soon a glistening cosmos. Blue, pink, yellow, and purple swirled in masses among the twinkling stars.
I was floating in space.
I took in a small breath and reached out, trying to grab at them. I flexed what looked like metal servos in front of me, watching the gears move and joints strain with each bend. Getting a feel for them, I then looked down at the rest of my body.
Robotic limbs stretched out and an armored frame that was completely light grey with very few details. Looking behind me, I spotted a dual pair of wings on my back, the lower ones smaller than the mains that stood up and out. There was a small tail fin on each of my calves, jutting out to the side.
A smile stretched across my face as I flexed my servos again, rolling my neck and feeling all my different systems coming online. I was aware I was alive right now, my mind naturally trying to figure out what to do next to keep it that way. I needed somewhere to stay and some kind of fuel.
But how the heck was I supposed to get anywhere?! I was floating in the middle of nowhere far from anything that could help me.
"Ok, just calm down," I thought, looking around. I had what looked like crosshairs darting around in my vision wherever I looked as well as a small map that showed I was somewhere far away from everything.
Wonderful
I frowned and tried running a diagnostic test. It took some figuring out but I finally managed to. This just left me more confused as they all popped up in a weird text, none of which I could read or understand. What made me worried though was I could see a little thermometer, probably my core temperature, going down slowly as a result of free-floating in space.
I might have been able to move better but I then remembered I knew nothing.
"Somebody find me!" My mind yelled into the abyss but of course, my voice was drowned out and I got no reply. I shivered a bit, rubbing my arms as I looked around desperately. There was no way I'd been born just to die right away, not like this at least!
Tears formed in the corners of my optics at the thought of this slow death but I quickly whipped them away. No, no crying. I had to preserve what fuel I had.
