So, what if Snyder had a kid(EW snyder having a kid?) Anyway, I thought what if Snyders kid became a Manhattan Newsie, and Snyder trusted Jack to keep him safe. But one day his kid gets hit by a wagon and dies? Jack couldn't do anything about it because he didn't know that he was hit till he was brought back to the lodging house, dead. So what if the reason why Snyder hates Jack so much is because he trusted him to protect his kid and he didn't??
