Ice cream  (Chap 10)

Dexter pov:

I groan as I hit my head on the table for the third time as I avoid Amaya's glare as she tries to complete a math problem.

Why can't this girl listen to me and do the formulas right?

I glance up as see her scowling at the paper, her brow furrowed and can't help but try to hide my small smile.

This girl will be the death of me. But I'll gladly take it any day.

I was embarrassed first when we walked into the front door and I saw how messy my place was. It was so fucking embarrassing and I was scared that she would hate me for it.

But I guess I didn't have anything to worry about because instead she just didn't wanna hang out cause of how annoying I am.

She's gonna have to cry about it cause I wanna hang out with her more and more. She's like a drug and the more I stay with her the more I enjoy being I her company.

You just wanna see her reactions because they're the best ones. She's always glaring and annoyed with something and it's so fucking cute.

She's just like a grumpy kitten that I saw one time in the pet store on the way home.

"Daddy...im bored," Luke mumbles and slumps next to my leg.

"Maybe we should take a break? We've been at it for an hour now," I ask Amaya

I sit still and glance at her while Luke climbs on my body like a climbing frame and tugs on my T-shirt.

"Damn it to hell. Screw this anyway, I give up," she huffs and closes the book.

I shoot her an amused look and then pepper Luke with kisses as he giggles.

"Maybe we should go get ice cream?" I suggest as I try to avoid Luke's arms from hitting my face by accident.

"Is there an ice cream place near here?" She glances at me, with her brown eyes. I'm so jealous, her eyes are beautiful. I've just got weird green ones, looking like a frog.

I've never been conscious of my looks  until now. Don't get me wrong, I'm good looking but sometimes she's so pretty she makes me doubt myself.

Fuck....this is embarrassing.

"Well.....?" She brought me out of my thoughts and I feel my neck flush as she peers at me.

"It's kinda far from here so we're going to have to take my mother bike," I trailed off as I saw her narrowed eyes.

"Your motorbike?"

"Yes, don't bully my baby like that," I smile teasingly.

"I thought I'm your baby," Luke rolls around in my lap.

"Of course you are, and also she is as well," I grinned as I saw Luke pout and then watch as he crawls to Amaya.

"I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the fact that Luke rides your motorcycle?"

Ahhhh, now I see the problem.

"Don't worry, there's enough space," I lean back and reassure her.
