you only mean it when you're inside of me.
you only give me reassurance
when my face is in the pillow.
why can't i get it when
i'm pouring my heart out to you,
crying, begging you to love me?
why it is that i only get it when
you're getting something in return?
oh well, i don't care because
i love you.
