this is my journey to loving myself.
not to stop loving him,
but to love myself to understand
i don't need him.
the time and effort i have put to loving him-
no, to make him love me
was wasted.
so i will put it to myself.
i am pretty.
i am deserving of love.
i will love myself.
i am more than
my body,
my looks,
my voice,
my words,
my touch,
and the bare minimum.
it will take some time,
but i will learn to love myself again.
