Thrones : Falling For Snow

It had been five months since the night on the balcony with Willa. Things in The Snow Kingdom were growing rampant and I spent most of my time planning our attack. Raven graciously agreed to help me overtake the throne. This would make me The Snow King, I never pictured myself as a king. I knew I had a chance to become one but never thought it would happen. I've been spending most of my time in the country side of The Dark Kingdom, rallying support for my coup. Today was the day for our final meeting, which meant I had to go to the kingdom. Truthfully I have been avoiding it, I do not wish to see Willa and her growing belly. I often catch myself wondering about her and how she is doing. "My Lord, your carriage is here" a guard tells me. "I will be right out" I say as I stand up and gather my things. I walk outside and get into the carriage, once I sit it makes its way to the castle. 

When I arrive to the castle I see the lady that is often with Queen Raven, I think her name is Lottie. She is standing there and smiles at me once my carriage stops and I get out. "Welcome Lord Andrews" she says nodding her head. "Hello" I greet her. "The Queen is awaiting your arrival, please follow me" she says and motions for me to follow her. I nod then walk behind her as we enter the castle. It felt weird being back here, I wasn't one to avoid things so this feeling was so unfamiliar. 

We walk into the meeting room and I see Blaze and Ronin sitting at the table. "Ayo mates!" I holler out and smile, shaking their hands. "There he is!" Blaze exclaims and pats my back. "Good to see you Andrews" Ronin says smiling warmly at me. "It has been awhile" I say sitting down next to Blaze. Ronin sat across the table from us and played with his wedding ring on his finger. "The Queen will be here shortly" Lottie informs us then leaves the room. 

"So how are things?" Blaze asks looking at me. "As well as expected, I can't believe we are going through with this" I reply. "You are doing the right thing Andrews, your uncle has ruined the kingdom" Ronin assures me. Before I could say anything the doors open and Raven walks in. Everyone in the room stands up and greets her. "Hello all" she says with a smile, greeting everyone. She wore a black and gold dress that trailed behind her. Her black hair was down and a simple black tiara sat on her head. Once she took a seat at the head of the table everyone else sat down. 

"Lord Andrews I'm happy to finally see you" she tells me with a smile. "Thank you my queen, I am happy to be here" I reply. "So I assume everything is ready for the coup?" she asks looking at all the men sitting at the table. "Yes, my spies have confirmed that the king is there. All the knights and guards will be ready" Ronin tells the room. Raven nods listening to him "What will we be doing with your uncle?" she asks looking at me. I sigh "I would like to kill him" I blurt out. Blaze looks at me and raises his eyebrow "Kill him?" he asks. "Yes, he is not a good man. He has done many horrible things not only to the snow people but to me as well" I say. Raven looks at me as she thinks "If that is what you wish Andrews. I will not ask what he did, but know I support your decision" she announces. I smile at her and nod my head "Thank you my queen". 

Awhile later the meeting was over. I was standing by the window looking out at the rain. "That's one hell of a storm" Blaze says walking up next to me. "Yeah it is, I do not think I will be able to leave" I mumble. Blaze pats my back "You know you can stay here". I chuckle "Yeah yeah I know, it appears I will have to" I say. "I've got to get going, join us at the ball" Blaze tells me then turns and leaves. I stand watching the rain for awhile then I head to my chambers. As I was walking down the hall I see Faith talking to someone. Her back was turned to me and she was speaking loudly. "Faith" I holler across the hall. She turns and smiles at me, when she turns I notice her pregnant belly sticking out. "Andrews!" she exclaims and runs over to me. "Whoa since when were you pregnant?" I ask laughing. She grins and rubs her stomach "I'm three months now, it was quite a surprise but Ronin and I are thrilled" she tells me beaming. "Congratulations Faith, I am so happy for you" I tell her, truthfully I am happy for her.
