I woke up around 7:00 hearing everyone out and talking. I woke up to still have my arms wrapped around Laci and her cuddled up to my bare chest. I still can't comprehend what she said in the middle of the night.
'I already love you dad'
Honestly it still makes me really excited each time I think about it. I suddenly heard a gasp and the door open. I shot my head towards the door to see Christy staring straight at the sight of Laci and I pretty much cuddling together.
"Wow," Christy said "That didn't take long. I was scared that Laci was gonna be shy but I guess not." she said leaning her weight against the door frame.
"Look Christy i'm sorry. Laci had a bad dream and she started to cry so I came in to comfort her and I ended up falling asleep and yeah." I said hoping she wouldn't be mad.
"Look Ash, I couldn't care less-" she was saying but I started to laugh
"Oh god what did I say?" she said laughing a little
"No, nothing bad. It's just you haven't called me Ash in so long. It's kinda weird," I said
"Oh sorry well Ashton-" she started but I cut her off again
"No Christy, please keep calling me Ash." I said smiling
"Oh okay. Well Ash i'm not mad. I'm actually really happy. I mean I was scared you wouldn't want to meet her and then I was scared that she wouldn't want to meet you but I guess I was wrong." she said smiling to the ground
"Oh well I mean honestly I love hanging out with her-the two times we had" I said
"Good. Well why don't you be amazing and wake her up while I get dressed." she said walking out the door
"Okay." I said
"Hey Laci," I said shaking her
"Lace-Laci" I said shaking her
"What? What? I'm up!" she said groggily
"Come on get dressed so we can go to Disneyland" I said
"Oh yeah! Thats today and another 2 weeks." she said
"Yeah it is! Now go. Get dressed" I said getting out of the bed and heading towards the door
"Hey dad," she said shyly. Probably because she called me dad
"Yes Laci?" I said
"Thank you for helping me last night" she said smiling
"No problem!" I said smiling "Now go get dressed!"
"Yes sir!" she said putting her hand on her forehead
I closed her door leaving to get dressed to see Michael, Luke, Calum and Christy all dressed and eating breakfast.
"Was there food already in the fridge?" I asked heading to the kitchen to get some milk and cereal.
"No, Luke and I went to the little grocery store in like the shopping center outside the park." Laci said eating a banana
"How did you guys get there?" I asked confused
"We got a taxi and went to a rental car place." Luke said eating cereal
"Really? What kind of car did you guys get?" I asked
"We got like a really nice van." Laci said taking another bite from her banana
"Who's paying for it?" I asked
"Oh, I am! I mean you guys already got Laci and I so much. The least I could do was rent a car for us." Laci said smiling
"Oh cool," I said putting a spoonful of cereal into my mouth. I honestly got a little jealous that Christy and Luke went and got a car. Alone. Together. Whatever.
"I'm gonna go change." I said after eating the rest of my cereal.
