I mean really? Laci wants to invite the boys to her birthday. She knows Michael's in a band. She knows all their names. But she's never met them. I mean ugh. But it's only fair to invite Luke, Calum and Ashton over. I think I'll just have too. I can't keep Laci away from her dad for more than 10 years. Well this is just going to have to be one of those 'screw it lets do it' type thing.
"Michael can you help me cook the pasta for lunch please?" I asked Michael while i was stirring the food in the pot for lunch.
"Ugh but why?" I heard Michael yell back
"Michael get your ass in here please!" I just really needed to talk to Michael about this whole birthday drama crap thing.
"Fine. What's up?" Michael asked as he came into the kitchen
"Mikey I'm freaking out I have no idea what to do. Like should I really invite them over for her birthday?" I asked Michael
"Well the thing is..." He said in a high pitched voice
"I kind of already invited all of them over for her birthday..." He said back
"You're fuckin kidding me right?"
"Well Laci told me that I have to invite them cause I know them and yeah..."
"Well looks like there no backing out of this now-" all of a sudden I started to hear sniffles coming from the living room. Laci was crying.
"Michael make the damn pasta and let me go talk to my daughter." I directed him
I walked into the living room to see a crying Laci hugging her knees sobbing into her knees.
"Laci baby what's wrong?" I said as I rushed over to her hugging her and bringing her into my lap
"I'm-n-never-goingtofindmydad" she cried into my chest in between sobs
"Honey I'm inviting all of them to your birthday party so you're going to meet them-him" I told her trying to soothe her
"You-promise?" She told me in between sobs
"I promise honey,"
"I just heard you talking to Michael saying that you don't want them there." She said now really calm
"Well I actually think it would be really good for you to see your dad and for me to see my ex boyfriend."
"You promise?"
"Promise. Do you want the third boys story now?"
"Yeah," she said hiccuping
"Okay well my relationship with Troy was actually really great. We were kind of like tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum. You couldn't separate us."
Laci just giggled,
"Honey I promise you will find your dad. Okay?"
"Okay."
"THE PASTA IS BUBBLING CHRISTY!" Michael yelled out from the kitchen
"Oh uncle Mikey" Laci and I laughed
"Well we better go help him before he burns down the place. Here watch some tv." I said while handing her the remote
"Michael whats wrong now?" I asked him while going to the kitchen
"Here lemme help you." I said as I stirred the pasta around.
"Hey mom, Michael! Come look at the tv!" Laci yelled
Michael and I made our way to the TV to see the one and only 5 seconds of summer on E! News.
"Okay Laci what's going on?" Michael asked
I just tensed up scared that she's seeing her dad already.
"You guys are on tv!!!" Laci said
"So boys what's the relationship status?" Giuliana Rancic asked them
"All single" Michael asked
All of a sudden you saw Giuliana's son Duke come running by and Calum caught him and lifted him up onto his lap
"Oh shit" Michael said walking out of the room leaving just me and Laci watching
"Aww he's so cute," Calum gushed
"Oh yeah he's just like ----------'s daughter,"
"What?" Giuliana asked
"Uh ha never mind. I was joking"
Fuckin a Michael
"That's funny mom I never knew ------------- had a daughter" Laci said being so innocent
"Wow me either,"
---------- just had this big blank space on his face
"Michael im going to kill you!" I yelled
