"Mom I'm ready for boy number 2, George." Laci said with a yawn
"Aren't you tired lace?" Michael asked
Aww he used her nickname I thought in my head.
"A little but just finish this story." Laci answered back with yet another yawn
I looked at the clock and it read 11:11
"Alright well Laci after boy number 2 it's time for bed"
"Okay fine fine"
"Alright so about 5 years after I met George, I was about 16 when I met him and then when I was 21 a random time I remember, is when we went to this park and he ended up killing a bird."
"Wait mom what?!" Laci yelled
"Yeah. It's a long story,"
"I got time" Laci said while closing her eyes
"Alright, so we were walking down a path and he kicked a rock and it hit the bird, then the bird got knocked out"
(A/N lets just pretend birds can get knocked out)
"And he didn't see the bird so he accidentally cracked his neck and yeah..."
"Oh jeez. Yeah he's defiantly my dad then with that clumsiness" Laci said
"Actually I think you get most of that from your mom and maybe a lot from your dad too-but wait Laci before we have the same fight like we did 15 minutes ago I never said he was you're dad!" Michael said scared that he would have to hear Laci yell again
"Okay! Okay!" Laci said in defeat
"Okay Laci it is time for bed!" I told Laci
"But mom!"
"Nope. Time for bed"
"Mom!"
"Uh. No!"
"Ugh" she grunted while leaning back in her bed
"Good night sweetie," I told her while kissing her forehead
"Goodnight mommy," she said
"Night girl," Michael said while kissing her forehead
"Night Mikey" she told Michael
Michael and I jumped off Laci's bed and I went to turn on her little lanterns and turned off her main light and closed her door.
"Hey Michael do you wanna just spend the night? It's 11:15 and its totally fine if you do." I asked Michael
"Sure" he said with a smile
"K You can sleep in the guest room" I smiled back
"Alright I'll go in there now. Good night cuz"
"Night cuz" we just laughed at each other
As I went to my room and changed and brushed my teeth, I laid in bed. I couldn't help but think that this plan of Laci finding out who her dad is, is going to be pretty hard. I mean Calum, Luke and Ashton are all great guys and its pretty amazing, that me and her father were together for 5 years and had a kid. He knows that I have a kid and Michael is best friends with him and its just too confusing. Maybe I can let Laci skip school tomorrow....
