Christy's P.O.V
~
We already have all gotten ready and walked out of the hotel and walked into downtown Disney.
"Where to first?" I asked everyone
"California Adventures or the actual Disneyland?"
"I say lets get Cali over with" Michael said everyone agreeing with him.
"Alright let's roll"
We got in line at the gate for CA adventures. Occasionally seeing some fans stopping us to take photos. But overall we got in fast
"What ride first?" I asked holding Laci's hand
"Ummm how about California Screamin?!" Ashton asked getting all excited
"Ooo what kind of ride is that?!" Laci asked smiling
"A roller coaster" Calum answered her
"How big of one?" Laci said getting kind of shy. She honestly hated real crazy roller coasters more than anything.
"It does a couple loops and goes really fast" Calum said
"Oh I don't know." Laci said looking at the floor
"Hey Lace." I said stopping and kneeling down to her height "you don't need to go if you don't want to. I've been here before and if you don't want to go we can watch them go off. K?" I said trying to reassure her
"Alright. I'm gonna look then see if I want to go" Laci said looking up
"Alright let's go guys!" I said getting back up then continuing to walk again
We got to the line and Laci looked a little nervous. But she told us all that she's going to do it. Even after we told her it's fine.
"Alright who's sitting together?" Luke asked
"Hey Laci can I go with you?" Ashton asked. He looked kind of nervous like I was gonna say no.
"Of course!" Laci said letting go of my hand and walking over to him
"Yo Mike! You with me" Calum said
"Alright I guess I'm with you!" I said to Luke laughing
"I guess so" he laughed along too
Ashton just let out a little huff.
After waiting about 10 more minutes we finally got in the seats.
It went Ashton and Laci in the front, Calum and Michael in the middle, and then Luke and I in the back.
Ashton's P.O.V
~
"You ready Laci?" I asked
"K-k-kinda" she said stuttering. I could tell she was nervous.
"Hey it'll be alright. It'll go by real fast. Alright? Here you can squeeze as tight as you want on my hand" I said holding my hand out for her to hold.
"Alright." She said taking my hand
"I can do this" she said standing up a little taller.
"And get ready for lift off in 3...2...1..."
The person on the intercom said. The ride then started to go faster then you thought it would and off we went
"I can't do this!" Laci said almost looking like she was about to cry squeezing my hand like crazy (A/N that would be me lol)
We did the loop and it was still going. It goes 2 times in a row.
"Wait why aren't we stopping?! Why are we going again?" Laci said pretty much crying by now. Still squeezing my hand like crazy.
"Dad. Dad. I don't like this. I'm scared" she screamed now burrowing into my flannel and still squeezing my hand hard.
"Hey hey Laci it's almost over. I promise!" I yelled at least trying to make her hear me. I kind of felt myself go into protective mode.
The ride jolted and finally stopped.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. I did that. Dad I did that!" She said. I couldn't tell if she was shocked or happy. Probably both.
"Yeah you did baby girl!" I said. Mentally smacking myself for calling her that
We got off and then walked off the platform to go on another ride
"Dad." Laci said stopping
"Yeah?" I said
"Thanks for helping me with that," she said hugging me all of a sudden
"Oh hey, no problem!" I said hugging her back
"Laci how- oh my god I'm ruining a moment sorry I'll step away," Christy said laughing. Then going back to the other boys
"Well what ride now?!" Christy said after Laci and I pulled away from our hug
"Toy Story Mania is right there" Luke pointed out
"Yeah let's do that!" Christy said
We waited in line and after we got our 3D glasses we decided who would sit together.
"Laci you pick first since you are the birthday lady" Michael said
"Alright I'm gonna sit with at least every boy every time we come here. But for now I'll go with Calum!" She said walking over to him
"Lukey boy!" Michael said walking over to him
Cool I'm with Christy. Michael did that on purpose. I look over to him to see him with a giant smirk. Christy noticed too.
"Well looks like you're stuck with me Ash!" Christy said. Again I got so happy that she called me Ash. (A/N reference to last chapter)
We finally got in our ride thing and put on our 3D glasses.
The ride started and the point of the game was to try and hit all these little targets. It's a lot more fun than it sounds.
"So Ashton" Christy said still focusing on her aim with the little gun thing.
"Yes Christy?" I said also focusing
"I just wanted to say thank you. For like taking Laci in with open arms and even though you left me through the pregnancy and all I'm still so glad that you decided to come back. Not a lot of guys would do that." She said stopping her shooting and looking over at me
"I mean thank you for even letting me see Laci. I know a lot of girls wouldn't do that." I said honestly
"No problem. A girl always needs her dad in her life." She said smiling
"So what happens after this?" I asked kind of scared by her answer
"I mean after Disneyland. What are we gonna do about Laci and all?" I asked
"Hopefully you'll still want to see her." She said looking at the floor. We finally noticed that the ride had just stopped.
"Hey let's talk about this later. Okay?" She said
"Sounds good!" I said smiling and getting off the ride
