"Why don't you just fight and take your home back." Oh, my sweet delusional little brother. Things aren't that easy.

"What take on that gang and their crab?" The supposed mechanic guy asked. "We're farmers. We ain't fighters." Debatable in my opinion. But to each their own I guess.

"We can help you get your village back," Lloyd told them.

"We can?" I asked. He can't be serious.

"Yes, we can. They need a place to live and we can't go anywhere until our engine gets fixed."

"So we can solve both problems by going back and kicking the Ocean Gang's butt," I swear they share a brain.

"As long as you are willing to stand up and fight."

I signed, I guess we're really doing this.

Y/n's POV...

"We'll use the materials you have on hand," Lloyd told them. In all honesty, it isn't a bad idea because they have many things that could be considered weapons.

I sat and watched as Lloyd and Arin taught them to fight. It was kinda hard to watch, but slowly it got better. Watching them learn to fight was more entertaining than I thought. By the time night came around they were all looking like fighters. I was honestly really proud of how good a teacher Lloyd and Arin were to all of them.

But deep down I knew something wasn't right. It had nothing to do with this upcoming fight. It had to deal with Lloyd and me.

I liked him a lot. But we didn't know much about each other and we've only had one date and started dating. Ever since he's been one hundred percent focused on training Arin and Sora and stopping Imperium. Which is very important but I also think that we shouldn't be together until we know each other more. The hard thing will be telling him. But I need to do it soon, even if I don't want to.

All of the villagers began to cheer, jolting me out of my thoughts. I didn't know what was happening that made them happy, but I guess it's okay.

As the night consumed the sky entirely we all got ready to fight. I watched from a distance as the note in a makeshift boat hit the dock. One of the snakes grabbed it.

"It's too dark to read." He squinted for a closer look.

I heard my brother sigh, "Ugh, it says look behind you." I wanted to smack him.

"That's what it says?" The snake asked completely oblivious. "Hmmm. Maybe it's time for me to finally get reading glasses." This snake cannot be serious. He turned around and Arin kicked him landing him in the water.

Lloyd and I jumped up from our hiding spot. "Now!" Lloyd told them. For whatever reason they yelled as they charged at the snakes. They knocked them out pretty quickly, but Lloyd seemed to take a bit longer.

After he knocked his snake out he went straight up to Arin. "Any sign of the leader?"

"No, but he has to be here somewhere," Arin told Lloyd. I chewed my lower lip, something didn't feel quite right.

"We need to find him and get his crown before he can call his giant crab." The planks beneath our feet began to rumble. Oh no.

"I don't think finding him is the problem anymore." the crab popped up and growled at us.

Some of them began to run away from the crab not wanting to be hit in any crossfire. "Too late." I heard Lloyd say. Lloyd soon ran in the opposite direction with the rest and I grabbed my brother before he could do something stupid.
