Becky stirred in her sleep, her movements restricted by the arm wrapped around her from behind.

She groaned, frustrated because she can't turn her body to the other side.

Assuming it was Lisa cuddling up to her, as her friend often did when Becky couldn't sleep.

"Lisa, I can't—" she began, but the words caught in her throat as a familiar fragrance filled the air.

The unmistakable scent of tulips, Freen's signature perfume, instantly triggered a longing in Becky's heart. Her eyes flew open as the realization dawned on her. This wasn't Lisa's embrace she was trapped in, but Freen's.

Carefully, Becky glanced behind, confirming her suspicion.

One of Freen's hands was cradling her head like a pillow, while the other was secured firmly around her waist, holding her in a protective, loving embrace.

Becky's heart raced, a mix of surprise, joy, and disbelief coursing through her.

What was Freen doing here?

Wasn't she supposed to be in Thailand?

Slowly, Becky turned in Freen's arms, her gaze drinking in the sight of her beloved's serene, sleeping face.

The moonlight filtering through the curtains cast a soft glow on Freen's features, making her look almost ethereal.

Becky couldn't resist the urge to reach out and tenderly brush a stray lock of hair from Freen's forehead, her touch feather-light, as if afraid of disturbing the peaceful slumber.

Then it occured to her, the recent events that had unfolded must have prompted Freen to come and be by her side.

'How come I not fall in love for you over and over again when you always do something that makes me feel so appreciated?' Tears welled up in Becky's eyes.

"Why would you go to such lengths to come all this way for me, PFreen?" Becky whispered, her voice thick with emotion, as she tenderly brushed a stray lock of hair from Freen's face.

As if sensing something playing with her face, Freen slowly opened her eyes, and she was taken aback to see Becky in tears.

Before she could utter a word, Becky enveloped her in a tight hug, holding her close.

"I was just so happy you were here, that's all," Becky whispered into Freen's ear, her voice filled with emotion.

Freen's smile softened, and she relaxed into the embrace, returning the hug with equal warmth. Becky's desire to hold onto her forever was evident, and Freen welcomed the closeness, understanding the depth of Becky's emotions in that moment.

They parted a moment, staring into each other's eyes, and Freen moved her head closer to Becky, leaning in and kissing her tenderly. Becky kissed her back, savoring the familiar warmth and comfort of Freen's lips.

"Let's go back to sleep, baby? It's still early," Freen said as she glanced at the watch.

"We'll talk tomorrow," Becky just nodded, pecking Freen's lips a few more times.

"I love you, so much," Becky said, her voice filled with adoration.

"I love you too, baby," Freen replied, her gaze brimming with affection.

Snuggling closer to Freen, Becky allowed the warmth and comfort of her embrace to lull her back into a peaceful sleep, her worries and fears momentarily forgotten. In that moment, all that mattered was the love they shared, a bond that transcended distance and challenges.
