Maxine's POV
Tomorrow is my birthday. I haven't talked to Yamato ever since I declined his request to cancel my invitation to his friends.
What the hell is wrong with that guy.
Anyways, should I wear a red gown or blue gown. Blue is my favorite color but,
Red gown will match this event more.
I should try it on. My mother bought this for me. Until now it makes me uneasy whenever I think about it. Where did she get money to buy this?
I think it's too much? Or it doesn't suit me.
But I feel bad for my mother since she bought this for me.
Just when I was about to take it off....
"Hello? Anyone here?"
Who's that? Her voice sounds unfamiliar.
"Coming!"
I took off my dress first. It would look embarrassing if a stranger sees me wearing this on a hospital.
I opened the door and I was right. I don't know this girl.
"Who are you?"
"Hi I'm Cassandra, you can call me Cass."
"What are you doing here?"
She suddenly pushed me and entered my room.
"So, you're the patient here?"
"Yes, and do you have a problem with that?"
"Yes"
"How so?"
"That's because Yamato is my boyfriend."
"So?"
She laughed
"Tell him not to visit you here anymore."
"Why don't you be the one to tell him and why should I care that he's your
Boyfriend? Are you dumb or what?"
She grabbed me by my collar
"Watch your mouth"
I smirked at her.
I secretly pressed the emergency button.
Just when I heard that the nurses are coming, I pulled her to me and we both fell down. I made her hold my collar again.
"Help!"
I started acting like I'm losing oxygen. The nurses pushed her off me.
"Max! Hang on there!"
They placed the oxygen mask on my mouth and I continued acting.
I looked at her and she looked so shocked.
I winked at her.
"She's just pretending!"
"Miss, I suggest that you leave right now."
"No! She's just pretending! She was the one hurting me!"
"What's going on?"
They all turned around and saw Yamato. Perfect timing.
"Yamato! That girl was hurting me-"
Yamato pushed her away and walked towards me.
"Are you ok?"
