That Time When Sukuna Made Gojo Go Broke (Part 6)

Geto was teaching his students at Kyoto Jujutsu High when an assistant told him he was being summoned to have a meeting with the higher ups. His students already weren't the sharpest tools in the shed. But he had to delay his lesson plans for this crap. The elders had to make his life harder by messing up his schedule.

He got to the meeting room in Jujutsu Headquarters. Surrounded by the doors, he stood in the dimly lit room with a calm bored expression, "What is it?"

"A serious threat had been targeting high ranking sorcerers. They stole everything from us. From our usual necessities, our furniture, our jewelry to our special grade cursed tools, everything! Our homes were robbed despite the barriers we had set up. They were clear signs of infiltration and they weren't trying to hide it. Our money from our bank accounts were gone too."

Geto rubbed his temple. He didn't want to deal with this. "There are people specialized for such situations. I suggest you call the police."

"Call the police? CALL THE POLICE?! Is that all you can come up with when we have clearly been talking about a serious threat! The barriers were not triggered, nor did our alarms. This must be the work of an unregistered special grade. It could be a curse user or a cursed spirit. We suspect that they worked in a group. No one solo could take this much from us in a short time. Find them, alive! We need to get information from them and take back what they have stolen."

Geto wanted to leave as soon as possible, "Anything else?"

"What is with this attitude, Geto? We are your elders and should be treated with respect!"

Geto resisted the urge to roll his eyes to the heavens and said simply, "I apologize. It was the stress from being a sensei. That's all. Unlike Satoru, I actually worked hard to gain a teaching certificate and I try my best to teach my students. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my students. I will follow up on your common burglary case."

"Com- excuse me- common burglary case?! This is not- Geto! Geto! We are not done here! Geto-"

Geto left the Jujutsu Headquarters. He called out his Rainbow Dragon and got on it, flying back to Kyoto Jujutsu High.

As he was riding his dragon in the sky, He was pondering about the robberies the elders told him about. Despite how he had reacted back at the meeting, Geto was genuinely worried about the robberies. Gojo had been robbed not long ago. Geto hadn't thought much about it initially. Gojo's houses had always had weak security because he never cared about his properties. Gojo had told him he just happened to be rich and had them. Gojo had also said if he was robbed then so be it because he could never be broke. That was why Geto had made fun of him when he was robbed.

However, the robberies seemed to be a lot more serious than he had thought. It was concerning that Gojo hadn't responded to his texts after he had sent the photos of his emptied flats. Normally Gojo would send pouting stickers or some lighthearted response. He had called Gojo and he didn't pick up. There was nothing from Gojo and it had been more than 10 hours.

On the dragon, Geto took out his phone to call Gojo. The phone was finally picked up after a few rings longer than usual.

There were loud background noises on Gojo's end. There were sounds of heavy objects being dragged from the floor. Some bing bang sounds such as things falling. There seemed to be people bickering. Gojo's voice came through, "Hey, Suguru~"

Geto was relieved that Gojo sounded fine. Geto replied in his usual soft tone whenever he was speaking with his best friend, "Satoru, how are you doing? You didn't pick up my calls."

"You called me? I didn't know. I had been on the plane with Sukuna and Toji back to Japan. We're back. I'm doing alright. We're having fun."

Geto was taken aback when he heard 'Toji', "You're with the m- Toji? What are you doing with him? You hate him and said you'd blast him into oblivion if you see him again because he traumatized you."
