Li Yan stood up from the grass, fixing his disheveled white robes. "Can you walk?"

"I suppose I can't even stand all thanks to you!" Shen Nuo flattened himself more onto the grass.

Li Yan half squatted on the grass. "Then get onto my back." He said with a smile. "I will give you a ride!"

Shen Nuo was flabbergasted. "What!!? Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Li Yan asked tapping his shoulders. "Come on!"

So Shen Nuo wrapped his hands around Li Yan's neck from behind and Li Yan slipped his strong arms under Shen Nuo's knees, raising him.

They came down the mountains together. "Nuo Nuo."

"Hmm?" Shen Nuo hummed in a sleepy voice, resting his chin upon the side of Li Yan's shoulder. 

"Who brought you here? Was it Shendu?"

"How do you know?"

Li Yan pursed his lips. "So it was really him." Shen Nuo did not see Li Yan narrow his eyes. "Only he knows of the exact location of this place except me..."

"Oh. But how?"

"Zhen does not wish to speak about it."

The moment Li Yan switched from I to Zhen, Shen Nuo knew Li Yan was irritated. Shen Nuo was too drowsy to argue and annoy Li Yan a bit more anyway. So he thought of having a short nap while he can.

That evening, Li Yan brought Shen Nuo into the nearest town amid the bustling streets full of people.

Shen Nuo was irritated when he found excessive girls staring at Li Yan's devastating beauty. Li Yan truly was handsome as an immortal in his white hair and deep black eyes. His sweeping robes of flowing white did not help Shen Nuo either. He frowned.

Li Yan laughed gently. "Jealous?"

Shen Nuo humped and tilted his face to the side to sleep but his hands tightened onto Li Yan's neck in a death grip that even Li Yan found himself choked in suffocation.

They enjoyed a lot. Li Yan brought him lots of sweets. As the evening deepened, children who ran amid the streets in gangs, circled around Li Yan and Shen Nuo, singing the 'Ode To Spring'.

Shen Nuo pulled out a red thread twined with pearls. He quietly tightened it around Li Yan's neck with eyes full of affection.

"What is it?" Li Yan asked.
