Benito was enjoying living in Arkansas , sure it's only been a week but, it was all great. It was peaceful and he could walk around freely because no one knew who he was. He could be himself and not have to carry his alter ego around with him. Benito spent the week getting to know the city and settling his apartment. Benito was enjoying his me time and he never wanted it to end.

No one has called looking for him which means no one has noticed. He knew eventually someone would call him. But , he also knew he would get bored of being alone and would want some company. He also knew he couldn't spend all these months just walking around the city doing nothing or being stuck in his apartment. Benito would grow tired of the same routine.

Last night he fell asleep late catching up on a show, therefore , he slept in. He woke up and it was already noon so he decided to why not go to the gym and see where the rest of the day would take him. He showered , did his skin routine , and threw on some shorts , a tee , his bad bunny sneakers, and a sweatshirt. To cover his messy curls he threw on a cap. He made himself a protein shake before leaving his apartment. He decided to walk to the gym and that would be his cardio. It was not a long walk but , decent enough.

He arrived at the gym and it was very empty. Only one girl and two other men. Benito began his workout. Eventually the two other men had left the gym. It was now only Benito and the girl. Benito had only arrived shortly after she did. They were at opposite sides of the gym. She was determined and focused. She was very upset that she had forgotten her headphones.

The girl was concluding her workout when she heard equipment fall to the ground.

" puñeta!" Benito cursed out loud as the equipment had fallen making a loud thud and he was now bleeding.

Madison turned around and hurried towards the guy.

" Are you ok ? Oh my gosh you're bleeding , let me get the first aid kit." She said as soon as she saw he was bleeding.

Madison ran back with the brief case and began to treat the cut. It was her nursing instincts. Benito watched as she cleaned the cut to make sure it wouldn't get infected. He recognize the girl, she was the one who helped him at the supermarket.

" it's not your first time helping me." Benito spoke causing her to look up at him.

Madison had only seen the cut , she had not bothered to look at him.

" Are you the new guy from the supermarket?" She asked as he nodded.

" Guilty." He said as she laughed.

Benito watched as she handled his hand with such care. Her hands were super soft and she was gentle. He looked down at her , she was beautiful. But , he wasn't into love or anything right now.  Maybe she could be his friend.

Madison covered the cut with a band aid " all better" she said and began to put everything back into the first aid kit.

" Thank You, my name is Benito by the way." Benito said

" Nice to meet you , I'm Madison." She replied with a smile looking at him.

There was not a single flaw on his face, she thought. It was evident he wasn't from here.

" Would you like the to go out for lunch , I could use some company?" He asked her.

" sure." She agreed. " I know the perfect place , two blocks down."

The two began to collect their things before exiting the gym. They walked two blocks down as she said and found a pizzeria. Benito being the gentleman he was held the door open for her. They each ordered what they wanted and then sat at a table.

" So have you always lived in Arkansas?" Benito asked breaking the silence.

" Yup, born and raised. I wouldn't change a thing." Madison answered.

She was seated across from him so she had the perfect view of him. Benito was highly attractive.

" How about you, why Arkansas ? Where are you from ?" She asked.

" I wanted some change and from what I've seen it's beautiful here. I'm from Puerto Rico." He answered.

" Okay, well if you want maybe some other time I can take you sight seeing. Believe it or not there is much to see." She said

" I would like that." He said

" If you want you can save my number." Madison said as Benito nodded.

She gave him her number , he saved it , and texted her his name so she could save his. Their pizza had arrived so they began to eat. After they were done eating both Madison and Benito pulled out their wallets.

" How much is my half ?" Madison asked wanting to see the receipt.

" It's ok I got it." Benito said taking out his card.

" No Benito , what is my half." Madison said sternly.

" Madison , I told you I got it." He said back with a laugh.

" Yup , we're going to be great friends." She said sarcastically rolling her eyes as he laughed.
