Madison was currently finishing up her makeup. Her parents were having a family dinner at their house just for them to eat. She styled her hair in a messy bun up do with some curls hanging out. She was going to to leave it loose but according to the weather app it was super hot out. Once she had finished her makeup she slipped on her dress. She paired the dress with some sandals and some dainty cute jewelry.

As always right on cue there was a knock on her door. She opened it revealing Benito He wore a nice polo knitted shirt , these linen summer pants , and some sandals. He had shades and as always his curls nicely styled. Their scents mixing together filling up her apartment. Of course she had invited him.
They hugged as they greeted each other. She then realized he had a bag in his hand.
" um what's that ?" She asked raising a brow.
" for your parents." He said , she groaned rolling her eyes.
" I told you not to buy anything you clearly don't listen." Madison said
" I can't just show up empty handed , I have to make an impression." He said as she rolled her eyes once more.
" Well let's get going , my mom hates when I'm late." She said grabbing her keys as he chuckled.

The gps said five minutes and Benito suddenly grew nervous. He did not know why but he was also anxious. Madison had told him they were very nice people.
They arrived at this beautiful house , from the bag Benito pulled out a bouquet of roses and a wine bottle. Madison smiled at his gestures. She walked ahead of him leading him to her back yard.
" Missed me?" She asked announcing her arrival. She spotted her mom , dad , and sister.
" Hi Mads." Her sister Mabel said getting up to hug her as her parents did the same.
" This is Benito." She then said introducing him.
" Hi I'm Susan." Her mom said as Benito gave her the flowers, pulling one out so he could give it to Mabel.
He then greeted her dad as he shook Benito's hand firmly. Madison then led Benito to the table where they sat next to each other. The food was ready and they were all starving.
" You have a beautiful home." Benito said starting a conversation catching Madison by surprise.
" Thank you sweetie , Madison can definitely give you a tour later." Susan said.
" So Benito where are you from and what do you do ?" Her father asked.
" I am 29 from the island of Puerto Rico and I'm a writer." He answered.
" Where did you two meet ?" Her mom asked.
" We met at the supermarket , your daughter was kind enough to help me with the machine. I've been living here for two months and a half now." Benito replied.
Mabel looked at Madison and smirked.
" And are you two dating ?" Her dad asked causing Madison to almost choke on her food. Both Mabel and Benito laughing.
" Dad!" She exclaimed.
" What you can't expect me to not ask." Her father shrugged.
" uh to answer your question , we are not dating." Benito smiled, Madison just looked at him causing him to look at her.
Susan just smirked.
After eating Benito stayed outside talking to Madison's father as the ladies went inside to wash dishes.
" He's literally so fine." Mabel said as Madison smacked her arm.
" He is cute , you guys would be cute together. Your father likes him." Susan said
" Mom you too ?!"
" What Mads it's obvious you two like each other." Mabel said
" So not true ." She fought back.

" And this used to be my room." Madison said
" wow it's huge." Benito said
" I still have some clothes here." She commented looking at her closet.
When she turned around Benito was right behind her.
" hello personal space." She laughed but , when she looked up her expression changed.
Why was he looking down at me ? Why are we so close ? Madison began to think, she grew nervous. Benito began to lean in and so did she. As soon as they closed their eyes Benito's phone went off , causing them to both pull apart startled.
He quickly declined even though he wanted to answer. It was one of his best friends. They've probably noticed that he's been gone.
" you can get that." Madison said referring to the call.
" uh no , it can wait." He said.
" we should get going." She said as he nodded leading him out of her room.
