The following day the two went to a basketball game at Madison square garden. That was their first public appearance together. Madison's first time being in the spotlight. They walked into the game hand in hand surrounded by Benito's men of course. Madison was nervous there was so many people , cameras , and reporters. Benito gave her hand a light squeeze as a sign of comfort.
How did he handle these things with such grace ? Was he nervous as well ?
They arrived at their seats which were obviously court side. A couple of the players came to say hi to Benito and take their picture with him. Shortly after the game started. During the game they announced Benito's presence and recorded him on the big screen. Madison appeared next to him, the two of them laughed as he leaned on her shoulder.
It was a good game and of course New York won. Of course leaving the game was chaos. Benito always made sure to put Madison in front of him. In the car Madison decided to check Instagram in which her face was plastered everywhere. Everyone wanted to know who she was and why was she with Benito.
Wow , that was fast.
She promised herself she would not read comments because she knew there would be some hateful things. All that mattered was that she was happy. She showed Benito and he laughed. He mentioned how he told her this would happen. The gossip sites do not play , always looking for a new rumor to spread.

Their time in New York had moved along fast. It was already their last night in the city. Madison was sad , she could honestly see herself living in New York; She loved it so much. Since it was their last night Benito had something special planned.

" How do I look ?" She asked
" Perfect." He said
He interlocked their hands as they exited their hotel room and made their way to the lobby. Outside was a horse ride waiting for them. There was a huge bouquet on the seat. Madison gasped , who knew Benito would be such the romantic type. The horse ride would be taking them through the city and to the restaurant.
The city lights as always were amazing but , tonight for some reason they looked even better. Madison leaned her head on Benito's shoulder as they admired the city of New York. He kissed her forehead. In this moment it felt like there was nothing else around them and that's how it always felt when he was with her. He loved that in her eyes , he's only Benito and not Bad Bunny. It's true , from time to time she would forget his career. She loved him for him and not what he has.
They eventually arrived at the restaurant. In which Benito had just rented out for the two of them. Madison was impressed but , she told him, he didn't have to do all of that. But , he insisted he wanted extra privacy and for nobody to get in the way of this moment and special night.

The two had already enjoyed their food and were currently waiting for their dessert. Benito was taking some pictures of Madison when their dessert arrived. It came along with a card , Madison furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.
" open it." Benito says.
She opens the card and inside it says " Will you be my girlfriend?"
She looks up at Benito.
" I've liked you for a while now and I want to continue doing life with you. I love you Madison. So will you be my girlfriend?" He spoke
Madison nodded as they got up to kiss. She was the happiest girl in the world. Their trip to New York will always be something they would never forget.
