2028 SEASON

Three years have passed since lando had proposed to rain, and it had been the best day of his life. Even better than winning his first race. As much as he would deny it but he would even put his marriage before winning his first championship. Lando had won the 2027 world championship with mclaren, the team had put together a rocket ship of a car for the season. Oscar had placed p4 in the championship, in his forth year he got better and better.

Many people had retired. Lewis, checo and Fernando which had made the world of formula one sad at the driver as his long lasted years in f1 came to an end for once and for all, Kmag and hulk had also retired in between those years. Rookies took over their spots, young talent once again rose through the sport.

Rain and lando had settled down in monaco, in Lando's apartment. Things were different though. Everything was much more baby proof than two years ago, a mess of toys hanging around on couches and tables it was never ending were they were going to end up next.

Flynn had come into their lives at the end of the 2025 season, he wasn't planned and he cause a panic to the newly married couple but it all worked out in the end. Rain went internet silent for almost the whole of the 2025 season, avoiding the media and schemes of where she disappeared to but in reality she was sat on the cozy couch of their apartment in monaco most likely searching up baby names.

Their bundle of joy was born on November 19th, 2025. He took his fathers eyes and his mothers features. Certainly took Lando's personality. He grew up a trouble maker, cheeky with his actions.

"Mar, Flynn got into the cabinet again" Lando groaned as he grabbed a hold of the run away toddler that had somehow gotten a pack of chips from the top cabinet of the kitchen.

"Flynn" rain let out a sigh as she took the young boy from lando and now held him on her hip as she grabbed the pack of chips and handed them off to her husband who opened them up, walked away and ate them.

"What did we say about sneaking around?" Rain's voice was soft while she spoke to her child.

The couple weren't the type to make a big fuss about anything. But they made sure Flynn would grow up knowing that not everything would be given to him no matter the amount of money they had.

"No take food when haven't ask mama and dada" his words were broken but for his age he could form almost perfect sentences.

"Ask next time okay?"

Rain set the boy down after he gave her a nod. He immediately went to go find his father who was now on the sim.

Slowly making his way down the corridor Flynn found his dad sat in the simulator racing around silverstone.

Tapping his fathers shoulder lightly to let him know he's there, lando paused the race as put his full attention on his kid.

"Hey buddy what's up?" Lando lifted Flynn onto his lap, the young taking interest in the steering wheel in front of him. "You wanna steer?"

"Vroom vroom!" Lando laughed at the car sounds and started the game back up.

Unknowing to rain the whole moment was caught on Lando's stream. Typically they didn't put Flynn in front of cameras for his safety from fans but it slipped his mind. Flynn had a way of distracting his dad just like rain did.

Lando helped Flynn race around sliverstone, taking control of the pedals while he put his hands lightly over the top of Flynn's to help him steer around the track so he wouldn't crash every two seconds.

"Dada i want to race!" Flynn leaned back against his dads body, letting him take back control of the wheel.

"You can join me in here more if you want" lando paid no attention to the exact words that came out of his kids mouth.

"No no i want race kart" lando quickly stopped the game again. Tuning his attention back down the Flynn who laid down comfortably on his dads chest.

"Karting? You still to young bud. We can try that in a few years"

"I want race" Flynn's voice drifted off, sadness printed on his facial features. Lando took notice and lifted him off his chest and placed him down onto the floor.

Where his let his body fall to the floor in deviation. Lando quickly got up from his seat excusing his chat before carrying Flynn out of the room before he broke down on camera. In front of thousands.

"Mar...flynn bud please stay still for a second. Mums going to take you"

"Aww what's wrong baby?" Rain hoisted flynn into her arms, the toddler having a death grip on her hand while his face was hid on her shoulder.

"He said he wants to kart but he's to young and he's upset" lando stood guilty in front of the two people he loved most in his life.

He hated making his baby boy sad, he stung deep within him for some reason. He made sure to make Flynn's dreams come true but he was still so young he couldn't do it yet.

"Lan...its okay. Come here" rain could see the guilt that lando felt.

Placing a hand behind his neck with a soft touch, she brought him into a delicate kiss. Earning a shriek from Flynn who had to whiteness it. Laughter came out of lando making him feel a bit better knowing that his boy felt better.

"You don't like that Flynn?" Flynn shook his head, his brown curls falling all over his face.

"Aww well i do" lando smiled before grabbing rain's jaw and kissing her. Rain giggled into the kiss, her sounds sent lando into a frenzy wanting more but he knew he shouldn't. Not now at least.

"I love you so much" Lando mumbled against his wife's lips, their foreheads leaning against one another.

Rain smiled "and i love you. So much" she placed a peck of his nose before backing away "go and end your stream, Flynn wants cuddles"

lando smirked and tilted his head at the woman that now had her back to him

"Are you sure Flynn wants cuddles? I think your the one that does"

"Yeah yeah whatever"

As rain and Flynn made themselves comfortable in bed, turning on the tv. Lando ended his stream which he had already abandoned. Fans were still in a frenzy about the adorable father son moment that was caught on camera. But he moved past it and said goodbye.

Walking back into the bedroom he joined his family. Taking his shirt off and cuddling up next to mar with Flynn babbling on about something on mar's chest.
