~CONTINUATION~

Lara continued fighting, killing demons and saving humans from burning homes, while the other samurai from the Samurai Association arrived and used their katanas to help take down the remaining demons. Despite being injured and some still able to fight, the other samurai continued fighting the demons until all the demons had been defeated. Meanwhile, the humans had been evacuated to the safest area. After the battle was over, Lara directed her comrades to assist the other people and left to find Miyamoto.

Lara had no idea where Miyamoto could be, so she used her demon blood to connect with the other demons' minds. This awakened the demons, and they felt the Nephalem's power stalking their minds. She found Miyamoto in the demon leader's mind, and swiftly flew to that place.

The demon leader was aware that the Nephalem connected with their blood, so they prepared for Lara's arrival. Miyamoto, in pain and held by chains, was coughing and looking up at the demons, who seemed to be getting ready for something. He was confused and curious. He thought that if only he had his katana with him, he would have the strength to kill the demons. He could have done so before, he thought to himself.

Short Trivia:

Demons and humans are very different from each other. Demons have stronger powers and abilities than humans due to their supernatural nature. Supernatural creatures, like demons, are generally much taller than humans. Lara is a mixed-blood demon-angel, yet she still has a human height of 5'4. Nephalems are able to grow much faster than humans, and after 10 days, they take on the appearance of a teenager. Their aging process stops once they reach maturity. Nephalems are stronger than both demons and angels, and have numerous abilities and powers, including those of the Gods, the Aether, and the Nether, which created the world and everything in it. However, Lara is still young and hasn't yet reached that level of knowledge. What sets Nephalems apart is that they possess the power of all elements, including the power of the Gods, the aether, and the nether, which gives them their immense strength.

At the Abyss:

In the heavens, the archangels and other angel leaders were in discussion regarding the Nephalem. A civilian angel asked, "How will we erase this Nephalem's existence? She is too powerful." The other civilian angels concurred and repeated the question, addressing the archangels and angel leaders. An archangel responded, "We'll continue sending angel knights to the human world to keep an eye on her and they'll attempt to eliminate her if possible. The Holy Superior hasn't yet spoken on the matter, so we'll proceed with this strategy..." As they were engaged in conversation, an angel, wrapped in a cape, silently and secretly listened in. She was elated to hear that the Nephalem was still alive and whispered to herself, "Be strong... Stay alive... Lara..." before departing the scene.

In the Underworld, demons began yelling about their sudden connection with the Nephalem. They were excited and euphoric about what they felt, and the Nephalem's aura was so strong that it shocked them and rendered them crazed. Some demons flew around aimlessly, while others ran and shouted, creating chaos. Meanwhile, at the Demon Castle, a high-ranking dark knight stood near the window and observed the chaos outside. He merely stood there, crossing his arms, and smirked. He muttered to himself, "Lara, you're still alive..." The Demon Superiors were stunned and shocked when they felt this sudden connection with the Nephalem, Lara, and discussed the possibility of joining her in their clan. "She's growing more powerful," one Demon Superior stated. "It will be difficult to persuade her to join us, but we'll see."

Back to the Human world:

Lara finally arrived at the location. She saw a wooden Japanese house and felt a strong aura emanating from it. Without hesitation, she destroyed the door and burst into the house. There, she saw several demons and the Demon Lord standing next to a chained and wounded Miyamoto. His wretched state left Lara seething with anger. However, before she could attack, the Demon Lord began walking slowly towards her and addressed her.

The Demon leader spoke: "All of us demons felt the shock you sent, Lara. Your strong aura was truly intriguing. Don't you see that we could easily hurt and kill all the humans in this world? You could have simply joined us, Lara. If you don't, we'll be forced to kill your human friend, which no one would want."

Lara was filled with fury, but she couldn't make a move just yet. There were too many demons present, and she could sense that the Demon leader's aura was incredibly powerful. If she were to attack one demon, the Demon leader might immediately decapitate Miyamoto. She struggled to remain composed and stepped back before sheathing her katana. Lara addressed the demons in a calm, cold tone. "Let him go. It's just me you want. He has nothing to do with this."

The demons growled upon hearing those words. The Demon leader was amused and let out a low chuckle before yanking on the chain, pulling at its iron restraints and forcing Miyamoto to stand. The demon leader addressed Lara in a smug tone. "You're blind, Lara. Humans are useless, and you're just wasting your strength for these weaklings. You don't even realize that they're also hurting themselves - sinning and destroying their own kind. That's quite amusing. What a waste."

Miyamoto was left speechless upon hearing the Demon leader's words. Despite his anger, he couldn't deny that the Demon leader had a point. Humans are prone to sin and self-destruction. Miyamoto looked at Lara and wondered how she would react to the Demon leader's words.

Lara was left speechless as she tried to process the Demon leader's words. She felt like she was missing something important and was unsure how to react. Suddenly, her demonic blood took over, transforming her into an insane and impulsive state. She unsheathed her katana and quickly advanced towards Miyamoto with the intent to harm him.
