Nephalem Chap 3

Lara was stunned and couldn't believe what she just heard. She was hesitating then she was forced to walked passed outside the Gate as she fell down, the clouds from where she stands vanishes, she was falling down to the Earth then later she reached onto the Earth's ground as she landed safely. When she landed, she looks around the place, she started walking around then she suddenly bumped into to someone. A man, he dresses simply, wearing a plain men's kimono of cheap, worn cloth with a white umanori hakama, zori and white tabi.

The man was seemed to be a Japanese, he knelt down as he stared at the girl, he observes her. Lara was curious about this man, she wondered why does he looked normal, she didn't felt any mana of powers from him, just a soul. She tilted her head, staring at him. (This is a stare contest, jk) 

The man chuckled then he patted her head, "You're a strange girl, what's your name?" The man spoke to Lara, it was in a *Japanese language. Lara was stunned by how he spoke, it was different from the language they uses in the Abyss yet she understood what he said. She thought about it. 

"I'm Lara.." Lara responded in a soft tone as she spoke in Japanese language, she doesn't know how can she speak Japanese and didn't even know what Language was that but she was able to speak that language.. She was calm.

The man nodded slowly as he hummed, he thought that this girl is a foreigner as what he had observed, Lara has blue eyes and blonde hair as well she has white skin, Lara was looking like maybe 12-15 yrs old young. He was impressed when she spoke in a Japanese Language. 

He stood up as he crossed his arms across his chest, looking down at her. "Lara, huh. Are you lost?" He asked curiously, he thought where she was living so he could bring her back to her parents.

Lara looks up at him calmly with her cold demeanor, she thought about what he asked. "yes.. But I don't need help to get back." She replied back, she sounded a bit opened to him. 

The man was surprised by how she spoke, he chuckled a bit. "Are you sure? Well then get home safe cause I'll be leaving now." He responded in a half-joking and in a bit of concern.

"One more thing, it's because I don't have nowhere to go." Lara added as she thought pf needing  help from him to live in this new world yet she sounded too cold and calm for how she just spoken these words.

The man was surprised by that, he felt bad for her then he sighed, he could see that she was needing his help for that, he was amused by how this girl spoke and her demeanor gave him chills.. "hmm.. Alright, I'll be taking you. Don't you worry now, child. From now on I'll be the one who will take good care of you." He spoke confidently as he gave her a smile with positivity. 

Lara was surprised by those words, she felt glad and thankful for that, she nodded as she gave him a soft smile but it can't be tell if she was happy or sad cause of how she smile, it was just a silly smile.

When the man noticed that, he chuckled then he extended his hand for her. "Forgive me for not introducing myself, I am Miyamoto! But just call me teacher, it's very nice to meet you, Lara!" He exclaimed as he gave her a wide smile. It can be tell that he was glad and happy to help a girl like her, he's a good man tho.

Lara looks at his hand then she takes his hand and shook it slowly. "How loud but alright, teacher then." She responded calmly, keeping her aloof demeanor.

And that's how she met her master..

Miyamoto took her to his house, the house is small and quite simple, Lara was surprised by how the house looked like. Many vegetable plants outside the house can be seen, it was peace and such a beautiful scenery, so simple. They entered the house, Lara looks inside, few furniture can be seen, kimono and katana..etc.. 

He took something, it was a kimono then she gave it to Lara. "You should probably change your clothes, your clothes seemed uncomfortable, you might get cold." Miyamoto spoke in a concern and his tone always sounded like joking but he wasn't joking, that's just him.

Lara looks at the kimono then she took it and sighed. "I don't feel anything, I'm already got used to this clothes I'm wearing but if you say so then alright and thanks." Lara responded back in a calm and cold tone.

Miyamoto just chuckled a bit after she took the kimono and spoke those words. He walks outside, he still couldn't believe it how Lara spoke to him, it amused him. 

Lara started changing her clothes, the kimono sleeve was a bit long, she found a knot and tied it up both on her arms for her kimono sleeves. She walks outside as she saw Miyamoto was harvesting some vegetables, he looked at her as he was impressed, she worn the kimono perfectly. (It's a male kimono and it's a simple kimono but it's still a nice kimono)

"What are you doing?" Lara shouted as she asked curious to him, he was far from the house a bit so she had to shout.

Miyamoto heard it as he stood in a normal posture. "Harvesting!" he shouted back as he chuckled then he continued picking up the vegetables.

Lara acknowledge that, she walked towards him then she started copying him as she helped him harvesting the vegetables. He was surprised when she did that, he thought she's such a kind girl, he smiled then they continued harvesting until they finished. After that they get back into the house and put the basket of vegetables to the kitchen. He started cutting some of it as he was planning to cook a soup, Lara joined her as she watches him doing the work. 

After that, he prepared the utensils, it was just a chopsticks and a small bowl, this amuses Lara. 

"So let's eat!" Miyamoto exclaimed then he picked up a chopsticks and started eating. 

Lara was stunned then she sighed as she calmly took some chopsticks. "Let's eat.." She spoke softly and started eating.
