Lara defeated all the demons that attacked them, before rushing to her other comrades, where she helped them counter-attack the demons trying to overwhelm them. As Lara fought valiantly, Miyamoto observed her in awe, realizing that Lara's strength as a Nephalem - the child of a Demon and an Angel - far exceeded his initial expectations. He snapped out of his musings and joined the others, determined to help in the fight against the horde of demons.

The bloody war was fraught with chaos, but the citizens who had called the city home were nowhere to be seen. Oda, the superior samurai had instructed them to flee and find a place to hide away from the demons. Lara was relieved to hear this, but her concern only grew when she realized the extent of the demon's attack on Japan, realizing that saving everyone seemed like an insurmountable task.

As the Dark Knight, Aamon arrived at the battle between the demons and the humans, he quickly joined the fray but only used his powers to send the samurai into a sleep-like state, careful not to harm any of the humans as that would cause Lara grief. Aamon searched for Lara, impressed by her quick and skilled fighting, a result of her demon heritage which he has a unique connection to. Using his powers, he found a way to get close to Lara with minimal disruption, and soon tapped her shoulder. Lara was startled by the tap and turned around, and upon seeing Aamon, was taken aback. However, due to Serissa's memory manipulation, Lara was unable to recognize Aamon.

Lara quickly pushed Aamon's hand away from her shoulder and placed her katana in a ready position as she stood poised to strike. Aamon was caught off-guard by her reaction and remained calm, trying to convince her that his intentions were not hostile.

"Lara, it's me, your Father," Aamon spoke to her in a gentle and calming tone, placing a hand over his chest.

Lara was surprised by his words but remained skeptical, unsure if she should trust him or believe his claim. She continued to point her katana at him, her guard still up.

"I don't believe demons just yet," Lara responded, her tone cold and uncompromising.

Aamon was taken aback by Lara's inability to recognize him. With a frustrated sigh, he moved her katana away from himself and approached her, Lara's surprise evident on her face. Without warning, Aamon wrapped his arms around her, embracing her close. Lara was startled but also comforted by the warm and familiar feeling that pervaded the hug. Slowly, she found herself hugging him back, burying her head against his chest. It then dawned on her that this man before her was none other than her father, and she felt a rush of relief and joy, knowing that she was in safe hands.

"Father, where have you been? What's going on? Why are demons and angels chasing me?" Lara asked in a frustrated yet curious tone, her voice laced with a hint of desperation. Aamon felt a wave of sorrow wash over him as he held her tightly but gently.

"Let's not discuss this here. For now, help your comrades fight," he said in a low and gentle voice, hoping to soothe her concerns. He gently pulled back and cupped her cheek, staring into her eyes with a warm and comforting gaze. Lara looked up at him, finding comfort and longing in his eyes.

"Lara, you are capable of so much more than you realize. It is time to unleash your true strength and show the world what you are truly capable of. Go save everyone." Aamon said to her in a cheerful and soft tone before disappearing into the chaos of the battle. Lara watched him vanish, lost in thought about what he meant. Soon, she returned her focus to the situation at hand, continuing to protect her comrades in the fight against the demons.

At the same time, Miyamoto was valiantly fighting alongside his comrades, separated from Lara as she had ventured off in a different direction. Despite his injuries and disheveled appearance, he continued to fight on, his speed and skill making him a formidable opponent to the demons. Suddenly, he heard a soft voice whispering in his ear: "Lara..." It was a female voice, but he was unable to determine its source.
