Natasha paced the hallway outside Wanda's room, her mind a tumult of regret and confusion. She had spent the past hour trying to figure out how to make things right with Y/N, but every scenario she imagined ended the same way: with Y/N's devastated expression seared into her mind.

Gathering her courage, she knocked on Wanda's door. After a moment, it opened, and Wanda stood there, her expression curious and concerned.

"Natasha, what's wrong?" Wanda asked, stepping aside to let her in.

Natasha entered, taking a deep breath before turning to face her friend. "Wanda, I need to talk to you. I... I messed up. Big time."

Wanda's brow furrowed as she closed the door. "What happened? Is it about Y/N?"

Natasha nodded, her eyes filled with anguish. "I... I kissed Bucky. And Y/N saw us."

Wanda's eyes widened in shock. "Oh, Natasha... why? What happened?"

Natasha sank onto the edge of the bed, burying her face in her hands. "I don't know. It was a moment of weakness, a lapse in judgment. Bucky and I were talking, reminiscing about old times, and it just... happened. But it meant nothing. Absolutely nothing."

Wanda sat beside her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Nat, you need to talk to Y/N. They need to hear this from you, not just see it with their own eyes."

"I tried," Natasha said, her voice breaking. "They won't let me in. They don't want to hear it."

Wanda sighed, squeezing Natasha's shoulder gently. "Give them some time. This is a lot to process. But you can't give up. Y/N loves you, and they deserve the truth."

Natasha nodded, wiping away a tear that had escaped. "I know. I just... I don't know how to fix this. I've hurt them so much."

Wanda looked at Natasha, her eyes filled with compassion. "The first step is to be honest. Tell them everything. And then, you need to show them that you're committed to making things right. Actions speak louder than words, Nat."

Natasha took a deep breath, nodding slowly. "You're right. I'll do whatever it takes to fix this. I can't lose them, Wanda. I just can't."

Wanda gave her a reassuring smile. "You won't. Just give it time, and be patient. Y/N needs to see that you're willing to fight for them."

As Natasha left Wanda's room, she felt a glimmer of hope. She had a plan now, a way to move forward. But it wouldn't be easy. Winning back Y/N's trust would take time and effort, and she was prepared to do whatever it took.

--time skip---

Y/N lay on their bed, staring at the ceiling, the pain of betrayal still fresh. The image of Natasha and Bucky kissing replayed in their mind, each recall more painful than the last. A knock on the door broke their thoughts. It was soft, tentative.

"Y/N, it's Wanda. Can I come in?"

Y/N hesitated for a moment before answering. "Yeah, come in."

Wanda entered, her expression gentle and sympathetic. She sat down on the edge of the bed, looking at Y/N with concern. "How are you holding up?"

Y/N shrugged, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. "I've been better."

Wanda nodded, understanding. "I talked to Natasha. She told me everything."

Y/N's heart clenched at the mention of Natasha's name. "Did she tell you why?"

Wanda sighed. "Yes. She said it was a mistake, a moment of weakness. She didn't mean for it to happen, and she's devastated that she hurt you."

Y/N looked away, the pain in their chest intensifying. "How can I trust her again, Wanda? How do I know it won't happen again?"

Wanda reached out, taking Y/N's hand in hers. "Trust is something that has to be rebuilt, piece by piece. Natasha is willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. But you have to decide if you're willing to give her that chance."

Y/N was silent for a long moment, the conflict evident in their eyes. Finally, they nodded slowly. "I don't know if I can forgive her right now. But... maybe with time."

Wanda squeezed their hand gently. "That's all anyone can ask for. Take the time you need, and when you're ready, talk to her. She loves you, Y/N. She's willing to fight for you."

Y/N nodded, their resolve strengthening. "Okay. I'll talk to her. But not right now. I need some time."

Wanda smiled, giving their hand one last squeeze before standing up. "Take all the time you need. Just know that we're all here for you, no matter what."

Over the next few days, Everyone noticed that Y/N was avoiding Natasha, and it was impossible to ignore the Conversations that were shorter, meals quieter, and the usual camaraderie felt forced.

Natasha tried her best to give Y/N the space they needed, but the distance was killing her. She spent her days training harder than ever, hoping to channel her frustration and guilt into something productive. But every time she caught a glimpse of Y/N, the ache in her heart deepened.

Tony Stark was the first to bring it up during a team meeting. He looked around the table, his usual smirk replaced by a serious expression. "Alright, team. We need to address the elephant in the room. What's going on with Y/N and Natasha?"

Steve Rogers glanced at Natasha, his brow furrowed with concern. "Natasha, you've been awfully quiet lately. Is there something we should know?"

Natasha sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Y/N and I... we're going through something personal. It's complicated, and I don't want to drag everyone into it."

Bruce Banner leaned forward, his voice gentle. "Natasha, we're a team. If something's affecting our dynamic, we need to know. Maybe we can help."

Natasha looked around at her friends, their faces filled with concern and empathy. She took a deep breath, deciding it was time to come clean. "Y/N saw Bucky and me kissing. It was a mistake, and I regret it deeply. Y/N is hurt, and they're avoiding me. I don't blame them. I just... don't know how to fix it."

The room fell silent as the team absorbed her words. Finally, Clint Barton, Natasha's oldest friend, spoke up. "Nat, you need to give Y/N time. But you also need to show them that you're committed to making things right. Avoiding each other isn't going to help."

Wanda, who had been quiet until now, nodded in agreement. "Y/N is hurting, but they're also trying to process everything. Maybe some time apart will help, but you need to be ready to talk when they're ready."

Natasha nodded, appreciating their support. "I know. I'll give them space, but I'll be ready to talk when they are."

Y/N, on the other hand, spent their days trying to keep busy, avoiding places where they might run into Natasha. They trained alone, ate their meals at odd hours, and buried themselves in mission reports. But no matter how hard they tried to distract themselves, the pain of seeing Natasha and Bucky together haunted them.

One afternoon, Y/N was in the gym, working through a particularly grueling set of exercises, when Steve walked in. He watched them for a moment before approaching, his expression thoughtful.

"Y/N, can we talk?" Steve asked, his voice gentle.

Y/N paused, wiping sweat from their brow. "Sure, Steve. What's up?"

Steve took a deep breath, choosing his words carefully. "I know you're going through a tough time. And I want you to know that we're all here for you. But avoiding Natasha, avoiding the team, isn't the solution."

Y/N looked away, their expression conflicted. "I just need time, Steve. I can't face her right now."

Steve nodded, understanding. "I get it. But don't shut us out completely. We're your family, and we want to help you through this. Talk to us, lean on us. You don't have to go through this alone."

Y/N felt a lump form in their throat at Steve's words. They nodded slowly, appreciating his support. "Thanks, Steve. I'll try."
