Rick and Glenn were about to leave, Mackenzie didn't know their full plan but she knew that Rick wanted her to stay here. He had told T-Dog to keep an eye on her, he seemed like the groups babysitter. First, he had to keep an eye on Merle and now he had to keep an eye on both Merle and Mackenzie.

Before they left, Glenn and Rick started talking to the others. Rick had gone over to T-Dog and Morales, Jacqui and Andrea were putting a bed sheet over Wayne and Glenn started walking over to Mackenzie.

"You're a hypocrite" He said getting closer, smiling slightly. Mackenzie thought it was weird how much he smiled. Even now, covered in dead guy juices, he was smiling.

Mackenzie narrowed her eyebrows a little in confusion "Huh?" She hadn't spoke in a while now, how was she a hypocrite?

"You said we shouldn't swear and yet there you were calling Merle Rick and T-Dogs bitch. Like I said, hypocrite." He used his wrist to bring his cap up a little.

"Uncle Smith said it was alright to swear if I was quotin' him" She told him.

"Oh yeah?" Glenn asked looking at Rick for a second before looking back at Mackenzie, she was pushing some of Wayne's guts around with the toe of her shoe "And what does your dad think about it?"

Mackenzie shrugged. Did it matter what her dad thought? He hated it. It infuriated him, made him even more mad then when Mackenzie and Finley would just swear. But them swearing to quote Smith, that pissed him off way more.

Not wanting to answer his question, Mackenzie walked over to Rick, Glenn watched her the entire time until Andrea came to talk to him.

"I'll do my best to not die." Rick told Mackenzie as she walked to him.

Mackenzie looked down and shrugged, pretending not to care. She did care, even if she tried making herself not, she did.

Rick nodded slightly, he didn't pretend to know how she, he couldn't. She had watched as her dad had been killed just to be thrown into this shit-show.

"Me and Glenn are gonna get us out of here" Rick promised quietly "You just stay with T-Dog, he'll keep you safe"

"You ready?" Glenn asked walking towards Rick and Mackenzie before she had time to respond to Rick.

"Yeah, lets go" Rick nodded, grabbing the axe from the floor. They both left soon after.

Once they left, Mackenzie and T-Dog went straight to the roof the others close behind. T-Dog to go watch Merle, Mackenzie to face her fear and watch over the roof as Rick and Glenn blended in with the motherfuckers. She had to stand on her backpack to be able to see over the edge. T-Dog, Jacqui and Andrea were all stood beside her but she didn't really take notice of them, she was too busy watching as Rick and Glenn crawled under a bus.

"He's gonna be alright." T-Dog murmured trying to calm Mackenzie, she was biting the inside of her cheek and picking a the nails.

"They're like Cope's grey tree frogs, blendin' in so they don't get killed." Mackenzie whispered back, the others were stood silently not taking any notice of the twos conversation.

"You like frogs?" T-Dog asked in return, she nodded but didn't say anything else. She just stood and watched.

Until it started thundering, the second it had Mackenzie took off.

She sprinted down the flight of stairs back into the store, she heard Morales and T-Dog shouting after her and Andrea telling them to leave it. She continued running and didn't stop until she was back in the room with Wayne.

Luckily, she was still wearing the gloves and mask so she pulled the mask down uncovered Wayne and started covering herself in him just like they had all done for Rick and Glenn.
